I just had my birthday breakfast and for the life of me I can’t remember the servers name but she was so friendly and nice. A complete 180 from the (different) server I had last year. Thank you!
Staff are really friendly! Food was okay! I ordered poutine and coffee. They do coffee refills for free! I would recommend if you are in group.

Went in for my birthday. Server did not listen to my order at all. I asked for the grand slam for my birthday as part of their free promotion. I said also in addition to that, I wanted the turkey meal to go.They gave that to me half off to go and I paid, then said when I asked about the grand slam later, server responded with "you asked for the turkey meal instead of the grand slam."So she completely misheard my order. I also have the person who was on video chat at the time to show them the takeout menu who heard me order the free grand slam + turkey meal to go.I was not even offered water while sitting there.Next time, use a notepad or read back the order. Not impressed for my birthday meal, walked out without one and only with the takeout meal half off that I ordered for someone else.Edit April 17th: I changed my review from 1 to 4 stars, due to management following up and providing appropriate and fair compensation. Thank you Denny's management.
Breakfast. Coffee NOT included like it is everywhere else. And with tax it costs $4! Orange juice not included. With tax? $5! It’s admittedly a (sneaky and) great way for Denny’s to make bags of money. Almost $9/person extra for stuff that is normally included everywhere else. If there’s 100 orders per day that’s $328,500 more (more!) per year for the owner just from coffee and juice. The only thing that appears to come in abundance that’s not extra money is the salt in the processed food. Ok, I get it. They’re wildly successful. It’s capitalism, and I’m in favour of it. Just remember that wildly successful in this instance means providing the lowest cost salt preserved food to each customer while chiseling as much money out of your pocket as possible. When the strategy is this dead obvious it’s just a bit much first thing in the morning.
Excellent efficient service from Tanu C. Food was tasty - their chocolate chip pancakes are the bomb! Only thing I would suggest is a little bit more cleanliness (table was somewhat sticky, and table ornaments looked like they could use a good dusting).

A much nicer Denny's than many of the others! Clean, modern and upscale. Most Dennys are old and rundown, so this one was a nice change. Food was pretty good!
