Delicious fish and chips. I always get the all you can eat when I come here, and eat way more than I probably should. They have some of the best tartar sauce that I’ve ever had as well.You can also tell that they change their fryer oil regularly, as the fish doesn’t have that dark caramel colour or burnt oil taste that some other places give you.
The chips are delicious and there's lots, one order is good for 2 people. I'm not sure if they changed suppliers but the fish is very thin slices and lots of batter. It was overcooked last time we had it. Chips are good.
Server rolled her eyes, and got an attitude on when my friend asked for a clean glass for his refill. Same problem we had last time with the same waitress. She says they use your same glass and refill it, but it is done with a metal push rod, not a button, so if he had his lips on the side she is refilling and many more people's lips on their dirty glass, it is really unhygienic, with the dirty side of the glass touching the stem, especially with the covid. Really too bad, as she missed out on his usual $20 tip he gives for good service. Would it be so hard to use a clean glass? Every other restaurant we go to does, and we go out a lot. Kind of like bringing your used plate back at a buffet.Anyway, the food was great, as usual, but we didn't enjoy it, and left before we had eaten our dinners. He says he won't go back until he is sure they have changed their practice re the drinks. And even then the waitress blew it. She should have just said yes sir, clean glass, and all would have been great, except when you think about it, even a clean glass would be touching the same contaminated lever.
I was going to give a 5 star rating even though they did not include tartar, ketchup or Coleslaw. When you order the 2 piece dinners eat in you get tartar coleslaw and ketchup and this restaurant used to serve these condiments with takeout. When you spend $45.00 plus tip for two fish and chips meals you have certain expectations and we were disappointed by this . We had read the reviews because we had not ordered here since before the pandemic and most raved about the fish chips and coleslaw. It turns out they do not provide ketchup tartar or coleslaw with takeout. The Fish and chips were excellent but if your are a ketchup or tartar person that really sucks and we were both really looking forward to the coleslaw.They would have received a 5 star review from me anyway because it could have been written off to a miscommunication or misunderstanding, if we had known we had to order the accompaniments for extra money we would have been ok with that but when trekked back to the restaurant for these accompaniment's the manager was COMPLETELY RUDE in his explanation, and that does not fly.This is why the five star down to a three star, if he would choose to apologize for his inappropriate and unprofessional behavior I would chock it up to a bad day and rewrite this review. I see "rude manager" appearing elsewhere and I can absolutely believe it.The ball is now in his court, we never look for discounts or freebies .. Just respect.
Very clean restaurant...NO FISHY SMELL like OTHER restaurants..So tasty. We enjoyed our meal very much. Server was amazing. Informative and very cheerful. Will def go back again soon
This place is going to the dogs in recent years. There's no such thing as customer service. Good luck getting any kind of refill in a timely manner. This is particularly annoying because it's the main selling point on the all you can eat. tables are as greasy as the food.
Historically I love this place. The food is good, service is good, atmosphere is good. Would give 5 stars. However, recently my parents and I went in with my two little boys 4yo and 3yo, we were not greeted or thanked for coming as in the past, we planned on getting all you can eat as usual and share with the kids as we knew they wouldn't eat much (they ate maybe a piece each and a child's handful of fries) but we were told you can't share...ridiculous for family with little kids (so we couldn't get extra plates - they ate off our plates, you know, cause they are kids). I saw they had a kids menu of AYCE, but it would have been such a waste of money as the kids wouldn't have eaten it all or gotten seconds, and likely would have asked for ours anyway. I don't think any of us asked for any additional pieces or fries so they literally didn't lose out financially. We didn't find this family friendly at all. Really disappointed. Food tasted good as usual but the experience left a sour taste in our mouths. We will be choosing other, more family friendly restaurants in the future.
Great food. Fresh and tasty. The coleslaw is very good, a nice touch with the meal. Free refill on my friends soft drink. Fish and fresh cut fries were great and served hot. Practice social distance and check for vaccinations. Always a good meal and good service. Nice to see a smile.

Fresh, very hot, yummy fish unlimited. All - you - can - eat, with a drink to cool off. Be careful, or you'll need a wheelbarrow to exit. Friendly, on top staff will take care of you while dine in at a safe warm business.
