My boyfriend and I love Bubble World and we have been going to the New West and Surrey locations at least twice per month.I have been to this location on 88th for drinks with friends before and had no issues. Today, August 1st at 7pm was the worst experience we have had to date.My boyfriend and I sat down at 7pm and the younger gentleman (he had longer hair) serving us gave us our menus and a jug of water. We noted the restaurant was very busy. For the next 30 minutes we tried to wave down our waiter to place our orders. But he kept walking by our table. Eventually by 7:30, my boyfriend went to the front counter to order. As my boyfriend tried to speak to him, the waiter turned his head pointedly and ignored my boyfriend. After this exchange, we got up and left. The restaurant had cleared down to about half capacity by the time we left. There was no reason to ignore us for 30 min. I understand it is BC Day and the restaurant was full when we arrived, but to not acknowledge or communicate with your patrons is rude. We were prepared to spend $50 on food and were very disappointed. We noticed the other girl on shift was running around to all the tables and doing a great job. But her coworker was not as motivated to help. I felt so bad for her.

Food was hot and delicious, certain menu items had a small portion for the price but overall it was very good. Would come again.

I love the bubble tea but what made my experience so excellent today was ordering online, paying through Google and then once I arrived at the Walnut Grove store, they had a separate door where you pickup your takeout orders so you don’t have to wait in line at the regular door. It was so fast and convenient and just delicious.Well done Bubble World Walnut Grove ??

Came here with group of friends then hoped to be treated with service. Some hot pot was okay, but this dish call chicken nuggets was too salty and oily, it should be reduced salty when you marinated chicken. The server girl with glass was not in the good mood yesterday we came. Please keep your energy whendoing your job.

It's our first time to go to Bubble World. And I'm glad it was a great experience - over-all.We ordered:**Mango slush - not to our liking - it didn't taste like mango to me. Maybe we should try it with no milk next time.**Strawberry slush - tasted more like strawberry but definitely not fresh strawberry but good.***Pineapple shrimp balls - yummy! :-) highly recommended - they made it crispy enough and the shrimps are plump - equivalent to "Prawns" in most Japanese restaurants for their "prawn tempura". :-)***Pork chop rice platter - Recommended - it tasted simple but superbly seasoned. My daughter is so picky but loved it.***Braised Tofu with Fish cutlet - Strongly recommended! Just perfect! But be careful, they don't tell you it's super hot, but IT IS!Their bathroom was clean, which I really appreciate. I hope they keep it that way.Servers were young, friendly and overall great! :-)

This Bubble World location is an absolute disappointment and embarrassment to Taiwanese food.I ordered:Two bubble waffleMango milk tea slush with pearlsMilk tea with pearlsChicken nuggetsThe bubble waffle tasted like someone made it with regular waffle batter. It wasn’t soft and chewy. It didn’t taste light and eggy.It was dry, brittle, tasted like store-bought waffle mix. This is hands down THE WORST bubble waffle I’ve ever had in my life. The milk tea tasted like it was made of 85% milk and 15% tea. Despite requesting less ice, it tastes highly watered down.I don’t understand. Milk tea is the classic bubble tea, and it’s next to impossible to mess up. Yet you somehow managed to mess it up….The mango slushy was poorly blended. It separated into two layers within 5min of us leaving the store. The ice layer had decently large chunks of ice left in the drink….The chicken has absolutely zero flavor. The only thing you could taste was salt. Not consistently salty either. Some pieces had significantly more salt than others.Summary, out of the locations I’ve been to in Richmond, Vancouver, and Burnaby. This is by far the worst location I’ve ever been to. Corporate should check in with this store or shut them down. I would honestly rate this store negative stars if I could.

Got a mango slush and a Taro, both with pearls. Both were awesome. Very busy location and only complaint is that it took forever to get our orders.

Only 6-7 really small pieces of chicken. The dried hot peppers were still crispy and dry, had to pick them out. Also the favour was just not there and at $15 was very underwhelmed. Wanted to love it as it’s right in my neighbourhood.

Amazing service!Received the wrong order of food and drinks when I ordered from Uber. But Bubble World Maple Ridge quickly handled our issue and delivered our order themselves to our home. Thank you for your quick response. Will definitely come back here or order more in the future.

I usually go to this location all the time for bubble tea and food and I have never had any problems with this location until recently. Myself and two other friends went into bubble world at around 10:40pm on February 23rd, 2022 and while we knew the closing time was at 11pm we didn’t know that there was a last call at 10:45pm. The girl at the register (short, black hair, and asian) watched us look at the menu struggling to choose what to order and did not bother to let us know there was a last call for drinks and waited until 10:45 just to interrupt and say “we’re closed now!” to us and didn’t let us order drinks or bother to ask if we wanted some food instead. All we wanted were some drinks to-go for our ride home. I understand that sometimes workers would like to go home early and not have to deal with customers at night however, I do not think that it is right for the employees to essentially kick customers out without telling them about the last call time. There should at least be a sign up to inform customers about the last call time and the employees should be trained to tell customers about that time instead of purposefully keeping that information hidden so that the employees have an excuse to be lazy during closing shifts. I hope that in the future certain employees (like the girl at the register that night) can be properly trained with better communication and customer service skills.
