Love! Although the line can look intimidating on a weekend, it goes by fairly quick. My favourite thing here is the flaky pastries. From croissant to danish, you really can’t go wrong no matter what you pick! And the display is so pretty; hard to pick just one item. The espresso is well-extracted and has tasted good each time we’ve gone so far. (Not burnt or sour!!!) Although it can br a bit slower when busy (backed up by orders), I appreciate that the quality does not get compromised. The service is friendly and I love the ambiance here! Lots of seating as well.

Very cozy bakery with nice atmosphere. Ordered blacksmith benedict and avocado egg toast for brunch, and also ordered some scones to go. They were all delicious. Great coffee too!?

Impressive croissants, they're flaky and crisp like a good croissant should be with a luscious buttery flavour. The butter croissant rivals top patisserie in Vancouver. Add in decent coffee and breakfast, as well as friendly and helpful staff; Blacksmith Bakery is a real gem. Can't wait to go back!

Hello dear blacksmith coffee shop,As a loyal customer of this business, unfortunate I have to report this incidence. If blacksmith care about any customer whose first language is not English, there is an issue to address in customer service. As someone who have been living in Canada for seven years I assume I speak clearly and loudly. I assume the plastic screen and mask did make communication harder. But today when I repeated my order loudly after being asked, one of the younger server seem to resort into passive-aggressive behaviour and still said “ I can’t hear you” even when the second time I said it was definitely loud enough that the customer lining three spots behind me can hear it.As someone who studied a little in business, for customer service, it’s your job to lean in to the customer. However, as I observed, my voice level was the same as the server. And most customer when talking to her had to lean on she’s her body language and facial expression did not seem to be interested.I did not attempt to provide the name as it is not a personal offence but it is an attitude to be pointed out.In fact, although my first language is not English, I likely had more proficiency in world language than her including Spanish, French and Japanese. When I travel to Latin America, most people lean in to attempt to understand my Spanish.Perhaps unless you have that experience of going to a non- English speaking country you will never understand that.Sincerely

Cozy little coffee shop/bakery near historic Fort Langley. Had a hazelnut coissant and coffee. The coissant was average, coffee was good, but a little pricey.

What can I say, I’ve spent most of my life working in small bakeries and coffee shops, the quality at Blacksmiths Bakery is outstanding and quite exceptional. It is an absolute gem, we’ll certainly be back on a regular basis I guess. The coffee’s not bad either !!

There is good reason this place is always busy. Great selection of fresh pastries, good coffee, breakfast and lunch. Had the chorizo hash, very tasty. Definitely will be back..

Just tried their hot chocolate which was really good, the barista took her time to ensure it was done right and did not rush it. I will return to try out the food. It’s a bit small with just a few tables but was quite busy. They also have tables outdoors with heat lamps. Every time we walk by this place there is always a line up.

Came here for brunch and also brought home a bunch of their pastries and cake. For brunch, we ordered the prosciutto eggs benedict and chorizo hash. Both were tasty. The chorizo hash is more on a savoury side and the sauce could make really good pasta.

So so so yummy. There is almost no way to choose a favourite pastry. I want one of each. They are delicious, flaky, chewie, crunchy and so satisfying. They are a perfect finish to a light soup lunch or a breakfast all on their own. Can't wait to go back and delight another friend with a new favourite place to meet.
