We've been here a number times since it first opened a few years ago, and have been pleased with the quality and portion. Prices may appear to be on the high side, but diners get a lot for what they pay for.We like the food. They put a bit of a spin on some of their traditional Korean dishes, such as the japchae and bibimbap, using salad veggies instead of traditional Korean ones -- it still is delicious. There is nothing wrong with fusion as long as it works.
Utterly impressed with the fast service and delicious food! I didn't expect $90, we would walk out stuffed and two boxes of leftovers. Testament to quality and customer service. You've won me over as a regular when I want my Korean fix!
We have eaten here a number of times. The food is tasty. I recommend the KFC and kimchi fries. The waitstaff always seem a bit overwhelmed. The facility is clean. Good choice in the Willoughby neighborhood.
Best Korean food ever !!!!!! We were in probably 100 korean places in the past but this place is fantastic. Excelent quality food for very little money ;) well done guys ! Most important finaly somebody serves filtrated water in nice ss cups not a plastic cups and tap water.
One of the restaurants that make Langley one of my favorite places to go for a meal. All around very nice tasting food with a great atmosphere. The portions were also really good, under $20 for an entree and they fill you up. I mean seriously, look at the size of the cold noodle dish, it’s huge and it was tasty. I am also 90% sure they slipped an extra piece of pork belly into my kimchee fried rice, which made me a very happy boy. This place is a lovely find for sure and I will definitely be coming back. My one criticism would be to make the spicy fried chicken a little less sweet. If there is an option to get it less sweet, then there is no criticisms from me at all. Everything is perfect.
I've been ordering takeout since September 2021. I've ordered maybe at least once a month or more because the food is soooo exceptional. Honestly I've and lots of Korean food in Toronto, and in Korea but this food is my absolute favorite. Very big portions, and I've never been disappointed. Takeout service has always been kind and speedy. I will continue supporting them ❤️ *photos are of spicy KFC bites, and bulgogi dosirak lunch*
Tried seafood noodle soup and pork belly dupbap, and they were so delicious! Amazingly juicy and flavorful pork belly and lots of seafood! I especially loved how they prepared kale?
The flavours were really good but on the sweeter side! I got the pork belly and angry chicken bao buns - would add hot sauce as I personally love spicy - but these were good and very filling. The famous nooodles with gochujang sauce was also tasty, they add a good portion of chicken and shrimp. Would come here again and try other items :)
Yesterday I went to eat at Banchan for the first time, I went specially for the spicy seafood noodle soup and let me tell you it did not dissapoint me even one little bit. It was by far the best spicy seafood I have ever tasted. Some people say that the prices are a little high but to be honest with the amount of food that you get the prices are more than fair. The service is awesome as well. Thank you so much for the awesome service and delicious food Banchan you definitely know what you are doing.
kfc chicken bites and pork cutlet set is super good! the kimchi stew that comes with pork cutlet is amazing! rice cake and jiacha is ok. won’t order again
