We had supper twice this week at Akane and we loved it. The owners are very very nice. We will come back next year for our trip in Vancouver.

Decided to get take out here while the rest of the family went to Subway. Service was quick and food was great. Ordered thee caterpillar sushi. The kids were impressed that it even looked like a caterpillar. Will stop here again when in Langley.
The more you go out for lunch in the city, the more you realize how many Japanese spots exist in midtown.It's almost like a copy-paste situation, but Akane offers something just right. A more social atmosphere, with quick service especially for larger groups, and lunch specials that are fairly priced for the area.Give the carbs a break and order the chirashi, a secret to avoiding food coma back at the office!
