If you are thinking of coming back to try the food after the Reno, it’s not the same. The service is terrible, the waitress was inattentive, the person who seats people had the first one in our party to arrive waiting for a solid 10-15 minutes while ignoring her and being apathetic; This was the worst offence. We had a RESERVATION and when the entire party arrived we had to flag the apathetic host down to get him to notice us and seat us. The wait was long, we had to flag down our waitress for simple stuff like water and coffee and that took long to get her attention because she would be nowhere to be found. It was a pain to try and get simple stuff like cutlery, we had to take from the empty table beside us for cutlery. The waitress completely snubbed me when I called her for cutlery and walked away, still mad about that. The lamb was tender but bland, no flavour, not even mint sauce, just fatty. The rice was greasy and I got one measly potato, the waitress forgot my pita that came with the order but it was rectified mid meal. The greek salad was the best thing to be honest. I want to make it clear, this review is NOT out of spite, I did not have a rude waitress, but she was inattentive and we felt like we were treated like a number and given terrible service. The few praises I give this place is I tried the neptune schnitzel my mom ordered and it was tasty. The other praise i give is that the waitress listened to my complaint about the host and assured me it wouldn’t happen again.Otherwise, this place has gone downhill from being one of the best, sought after greek restaurants in Langley to a subpar shell of what it used to be.
This place was great. The menu was extensive, the service was friendly and efficient and the food was really good. I was a bit sorry they didnt have the wine in stock that we wanted but they recommended something similar and it was really good. For some reason, the place was almost empty on a Saturday, but for no reason I could figure.
Looks better than it tasted. The roast lamb was very tender but bland & the dressing on the Greek salad was watery. The waitress was dismissive & was already walking away from the table as soon as she put down a plate or glass. Didn't bother to ask about beverages or condiments as the main courses were served. Was apparently "running around like a headless chicken" but had time to let other tables in our area know about it.When we asked for refills on drinks, we were dismissed more than once. She had only 5 tables in her section, plus help from a trainee runner. It was not a busy night, and yes, I have worked as a server. This was a disappointing experience.
UPDATE: I decided to book reservations for Father’s Day because I enjoyed my meal so much the other day. I booked reservations for 10 people at 6pm. We are going to make it a monthly event with our family. Every single one of us agreed the food and service was great and it was super busy!!First time dining in today for lunch with a friend and I really enjoyed my spanakopita lunch. Super tasty and large portion, good service and good prices. I look forward to coming back with my husband. So close to home but never been before until today. It was quite busy in there around 1:00 on a Wednesday which is a good sign.
First time we ate here, what a pretty place and peaceful environment. The waitress was attentive and friendly, the service was fast.We enjoyed the food, everything was delicious thank you!
Adrian's is always a good choice. We haven't been often lately, so it was time to go. The souvlaki is excellent and the portions are a god size. We enjoyed the piano player- she played music the entire time we were there - that was a nice touch. I'm looking forward to our next visit,
This was our first time at Adrian’s at The Airport. We just finished a lovely meal with wonderful and friendly service. I had the roast lamb and it was as seasoned perfectly and was delicious. My companions enjoyed the Spanakopita Meal and the Mushroom Schnitzel. The Greek rice, salad and potatoes were a great match. The Schnitzel came with delicious cooked cabbage. The meal was really good. The place was really great. Truly we enjoyed the food, we will be back! The plates are mostly empty except the Spanakopita that we wanted to take with us for tomorrow. Thank you for the great meal.
We really like the food here especially the Greek platter, as well as the atmosphere. The waitresses have always been really friendly to us and seem relaxed but also very attentive to their customers. I love that we can eat dinner next to the airport runway and watch the planes take off. This place is awesome for kids who love airplanes. The menu has a great variety of food to suit everyone’s needs. It’s also located next door to the Canadian Museum of Flight, so it makes for a wonderful family day out to do dinner and the museum.
Service was great, food was HORRIBLE. We ordered the Saturday special of steak and soft shell crab. My steak looked like garbage and was well done when I asked for medium, and the crab UGGHHH it was just a huge greasy, deep fried piece of batter in the shape of a teeny tiny crab. Mashed potatoes were deep fried in some coating. Needless to say I sent it back and got something else and this time I found a long hair embedded in my rice. I was done at that point. My husband ordered the steak as well and it was still Mooing. My kids had chicken strips and they were glistening with grease as well. Not sure why this place has great ratings, I wouldn't go back for the life of me..
Food was great and seeing it was our first time there since the renovation, one thing we did notice right away. This place now lacks ambience. It was busy for a Monday night and we remember the owners, they were friendly as well being busy. All I can say the food is still great and the prices aren’t too bad .
