When visiting Kelowna, my friends and I had stopped here spontaneously and we were so happy with the sushi. We got different sushi rolls and sashimi and it was absolutely delicious! The spicy salmon and spicy tuna are fantastic. The sauce is yummy and there is not too much rice on the rolls. The veggie dumplings were also fabulous. Loved this meal!
Okay well step aside momo sushi, Yama giving you some competition! Yama sushi was absolutely delicious. Their menu doesn’t have any crazy rolls but they have the classics, and they do those extremely well. The fish is so fresh tasting with a nicely thin layer of rice around the role. Also their veggie gyoza was delicious. Would 100% recommend this stop for delicious sushi in Kelowna.
Really glad I found this hidden gem in the neighbourhood! Moving from Vancouver, this is now my go-to place for sushi in Kelowna.Pleasantly surprised by the generous portion sizes of the appetizers. Sushi is always freshly-made and delicious, great quality sashimi.Service is friendly and efficient with take outs. I witnessed two customers demanding to eat their (already packed) take out order in store on a busy Friday night with all the tables reserved. I thought the lady accommodated their request professionally and admirably, making it clear that customers who reserved the table would need it at the scheduled time.Proud to support this local, family-owned business, especially during these difficult times! ❤️?
Best sushi in Kelowna! Despite being super busy on the phone and with takeout, the staff were still super friendly and efficient. This will be our go to Japanese restaurant from now on.

Ordered take out and decided to go with party tray C. The lady was friendly and accommodated our request.The was lot of food for the price. Everything we got was flavorful and fresh. Will definitely go back for sushi when we visit Kelowna again.

GREAT TAKE OUT!!Know they're slow right now because of everything going on. The best sushi place you will find in Kelowna. While many places in Kelowna in the prime location may have good interior and similar looking menu, this restaurant continues to fight for exceptional flavor. When you see a business standing "strong" in a relatively less busy area, that is the sign to dine in, not to mention the hundreds of reviews. The chef himself is the pioneer of modernized sushi, and brought many styles for the first time to Kelowna years ago when everybody was busy buying california rolls at momo. I'll keep supporting a good, innovative business and this definitely is the one!!
