Took forever to get a seat even though there were empty tables. When we were finally told to go sit at a table (no one showed us to it) took a while for a server to come over and we just wanted milk shakes. Advised us that milk shake machine was broken. If you have a flight eat before you get there.
Waiting in line, Manager came out and said they are short staffed. I get that, but at a prime location like this?! I'd say, what is going on that they can't hire enough People ?! Is it management or ownership? Someone up the line / chain is dropping the ball here. I'm sure the food is awesome, but I'm just bewildered that a prime location and only restaurant/ bar passed Security in an airport is having a hard time finding staff to hire. Just my thoughts!
Last call was at 5:45 PM even though the airport has departing flights until 9 PM. Server wouldn't let us in even though 3 tables had vacated before last call/closing. Very poor service. And unfortunate because there are no other options at YLW for sit down food. Plan accordingly if you plan to eat/drink here in the evenings as you cannot count on White Spot to be open!
The service here is good despite it being super busy! Food looks delicious and taste even better. The chicken teriyaki bowl was good and so was the Avocado burger. Thanks Nav for the positive experience.
Run down . pictures missing on the walls. Seats in booths worn right through. Tables worn out.No staff. Manager non existent. Don't blame it on covid. Blame rests entirely on manager. The white spot should be ashamed to have their name on this restaurant. Our waiter tried his best while getting no help from the manager. Food was not up to white spots standarts.
Restaurant had about a third of the tables full. 4 servers on hand. And a line up of 40 plus people waiting to get in. Never experienced such slow service in my life. Only reason we ate here was because it was the only option.
Wouldn’t even let me in for a drink at 6:04 - they close at 6pm (insane!!). They were still taking food orders from other guests and there is NO GOOD REASON why they couldn’t serve me a beverage. Terrible airport and terrible service at this restaurant.
Typically, I like it here. However, today was the exception. It was busy but people were clearing their bills, I was optimistic I could eat before my flight. Yet, rather than seat a couple tables, the 2 waitresses decided chatting was a better idea. I stood for an additional 10 minutes after 3 tables left and the tables cleared and wiped. It was nearly 20 minutes total & still, they didn’t acknowledge me, even after waiting another 5, So I and the gent behind me, walked away. After all, we did have a flights to catch.
Excellent service, they were short staffed and still were super friendly and timely!! I have to especially thank Lisa for her friendly service!Would definitely have a bite here again before catching a flight.
Worst customer service ever, the people before us were first in line waiting 20 minutes with no one even addressing them of how long of a wait. I walked up to the waitress Andrea, asking how long it would be, noting there were many empty tables and that they were closing at 6pm, 45 minutes away. She snarkly said she wasn't going to open another section, as she was the only waitress working. Soon after, another lady came to help us, and only after I suggested we wanted takeout because the kitchen was closing, took our order. Many people left during this time, but there was no attempt to seat us, or clean a table to accommodate us. When Andrea showed up with our takeout I asked if we would be seated for a drink to which she replied "sorry no". I then went to the bathroom, and while I was gone, my husband noted they seated the people behind us. I addressed this with the other person helping the waitress, and she said those people were just getting a drink. I replied thats all we wanted as well, but we were turned away. I told her such a shame, such terrible service, as I had worked as a waitress for White Spot many years ago, and there was such a great degree for the standard of service. Unfortunately I will not be patronizing this establishment again, I will take my business elsewhere.
