It's a competitive wine market in West Kelowna and we enjoyed the wineries that had their own personality and had charismatic and friendly servers who even if they were busy, took the time to guide us through the tasting. At Volcanic Hills it felt very transactional. I've emailed Shelby individually with a detailed account and hope this is a rare occurrence.
Tastings are $15! They say it’s paired with food (roughly two crackers, a tiny chocolate, and a spicy cashew). It doesn’t get waived with a bottle, and we had a girl who was on her first day. She told us our tasting was comp’ed, but her boss was there and she charged us anyway? It was a very awkward experience. We had purchased a bottle of wine when she told us about our tasting was free, so we now wished we hadn’t. Very strange and awkward experience.
Hands down my favourite wine in all of the okanagan. I buy 2018 lava red weekly, or when I can find it. Always looking forward to what they put out next.
Happened upon this winery and so happy that we decided to go in. We were greeted by Lindsay who was warm, inviting and informative. This winery had a wide variety of wines which were both innovative and delicious. We will be going back, maybe even to become members.

A very good Winery experience. We went for a tasting on 2021SEP11. The only wine I wasn't a fan of was the chardonnay, however the rest were a 10/10. They have a very beautiful view of their fields. I will definitely be back here next time I visit the Okanogan. I would say this Winery is a must go to stop!
Great winery, great service. Very unique wines and blends. If you like ice wines they have some very tastey blends which mellows out the ice wine. Look forward to going back!
Had a great time on a tour here! Really relaxed, unfortunately a bit loud and I struggled to get more information about their wines but I LOVED their lava white and lava red blends and their ice wine tasted like cotton candy, can't wait to try more!
