Love the service they provide and the selection is amazing. The pre-made food items are delicious. I could go there just for the creme brûlée.
I bought a roasted chicken from the hot food section but when I got it home, I discovered it wasn't even cooked. Totally pink and raw. I tried calling the store tonight but nobody was picking up when I asked to speak to someone about it. after several unsuccessful transfers and being on hold for someone during the same call, whoever finally picked up my held call hung up on me (17mins in total). I would recommend staying away from the hot food as a result with unsafe food and mgmt not seeming to care. $13.99 plus tax straight to the trash bin.
Great store for quality items, lovely bakery. Has a cafe style eat in area with a cafeteria style restaurant.
LOVE Urban Fare! Lots of great unique things to see. If you have time, choose something to eat in the little Cafe. Don't have time...get take out! The butter chicken pot pies are soooo delicious!!!
Quaint store that seems to have a wide selection of items, not many of each on the shelves however. Takes Save On rewards cards and stocks Western Family goods. Items are around 20 to 50 percent more expensive than big stores. Not really for big shopping trips.
Great selection of items and good quality food in the restaurant. Best beef dips I've had in a long time that I didn't need to make myself.
I have enjoyed lovely cakes for special occasions from here before but was very disappointed today when I went to pick up the birthday cake that I had preordered. I got a completely different flavour from the one I ordered and they had not written on it as asked. It looks like they just took one out of their display case and put it in a box for me. This birthday was a particularly special one and the paltry 10% discount they gave me did not make up for the disappointment. I don't believe I will trust them with my special orders again.
Urban Fare's deli, simply the most God awful display of deli products I have seen in years. Dried out roast beef, likewise turkey breast and the corned beef had been sliced with the grain.Two younger staff members behind the counter chatting and laughing away. Finally one of them turned around and said " did you want something " ??? really !!! By the way, their deli prices are just about three times that of the local Wal Mart.I had to give one star as zero stars are not an option. The one star is for overall including the non existent service. What a horrible place that is, when you find what I have mentioned above that, for the most part is a management problem ,, obviously staff training and food safety doesn't exist.
Absolutely amazing! So much variety and beautifully displayed. The highest quality and the highest freshness. Absolutely love this place and can't wait to go back again.
Lots of local, regional products. Large store. Nice to have a separate vegan area near the front and many vegan products around the store. The cashier lineup was so long, I didn't wait. Holiday staffing, I reckon.
