fantastic prices, wonderful staff, homey atmosphere~ it's got it all without compromising on food quality. my favourite restaurant in Kelowna. the take-home goodies they sell are awesome, and I buy my nori from there.
Their sushi and rice bowls are delicious. They also have a little grocery area with good variety and big bags of Japan grown rice.
If you're looking for delicious authentic Japanese food this little place is it. Wonderful hidden gem in Kelowna.
Highly recommend this place if you want authentic Japanese food that’s a little healthier. The food is fairly priced and I love how they put a twist on traditional Japanese food. The staff are super friendly so you can’t go wrong!
I primarily focus on the comfort foods. The gyoza rivals my mother's. The katsu curry hits the spot (having come from LA's Hurry Curry of Tokyo and Curry House on Sawtelle Blvd). The donburi's fill me up just right. Be sure to track what the daily special rotations are. Much of what I get can be made at home, but it's a treat being taken care of the folks at Ume.
I recently worked with Mrs. Winifred Demetrius, & her company for my investment with FOREX and BINARY owners for my first trading with them. They provided quotes quickly, were available for questions, and most importantly sent everything to my account manager Mrs. Winifred Demetrius, in a timely manner which made the whole process stress free. They were so easy to work with, I decided to switch over my bitcoin to them and that process was a breeze as well! I definitely recommend working with Mrs. Winifred Demetrius, and her company they help me earn $60,000 with an Executive Plan! reach her to help you like she helped me Email: [email protected] WhatsApp +15614630760
Ordered a variety off skip, everything showed up hot and packed well. Gyoza, Philadelphia roll and super bowl were delicious. Loved the broth in the Udon soup, however there was a lack of veggies and broth as it was jammed in a small container together with the beef. The curry was pretty average with the pork katsu. Will try more items as overall it was good food and very reasonable prices.
Quaint hole-in-the-wall place with 5 or 6 booths, with a mom-and-pop shop vibe. I believe they also have Japanese bulk products, but I have never purchased them. They have daily specials, such as discounted Takoyaki on Tuesdays, and $2.50 deep fried California rolls on Thursdays. Rolls are bite size in width, meaning you don’t have to eat a quarter of the roll per bite or risk making a mess. Overall, the food/value makes this a 4/5. The extra star comes from the daily specials, and permanent $8 off $55 special on Doordash, or 8% off on Neo. This is my go-to Japanese restaurant for takeout in Kelowna because I love their Philadelphia and Smokey Crunchy rolls, the Super bowl, and fairly priced sashimi
I love Ume Sushi.Chill little family-owned Kelowna Sushi & Japanese restaurant in the Burtch Plaza (Central City neighborhood) in Kelowna, BC.Healthy, affordable, and always friendly. Some of the best cheap eats in Kelowna.
The best spot in town for casual sushi. Everything I’ve tried is 10/10. The sashimi is perfection, the ebi ebi roll is so delish, the mackerel is incredible. The service is always friendly and prompt. Also the little small but mighty grocery section is incredibly helpful for at home cooking. The go to spot in town:)
