I made a decision today to switch my chai tea from Timmys to Starbucks because Timmys gets my tea wrong9 out of 10 times and I go there minimum 2 times a day. I know I am not the everyday order, however, I am allergic to coffee and thus drink tea.. I drink it with 2 milk (not cream) and 4 honey. At your Starbucks today on Gordon and Harvey, I was excited to be greeted with a pleasant young woman who understood my order...I thought. Not only did I receive a tea with NO honey but I received a lid that did NOT fit. Furthermore, the cup itself was so soft and weak that when I picked it up it squeezed in. Needless to say I spilled my tea in my nice truck and was unable to have the comforting tea I deserved after a hard days work. Not a pleasant first time experience. I really expected much higher standards from Starbucks. I am taking my tai chi and myself off the grid! I am happy to be out of the Covid era but seriously, since then there is almost no such thing as Customer Service or basic knowledge, skill and commonsense.
Needs clearer signage for mobile orders. Only processes in person orders from 1 till, maybe identify 2nd till exclusively as mobile orders? Otherwise the bathrooms are clean.
Of any Starbucks I have ever been to, in 20 years, this one is my favorite. The staff at this location seem to have a very good culture, so positive and friendly. Markedly different than other locations in this town
Was there on Friday February 11 in the afternoon getting an iced latte after attending the hospital. I was disappointed to see one gentleman in the store not wearing a mask and trying to stuff his chin into his collar while waiting for his coffee. A second gentleman walked in not wearing a mask and didn’t even attempt to cover up. Both these guys knew each other and engaged in a long conversation about skiing right in the middle of the coffee shop while everyone else followed the law to protect the staff and other patrons. It was quite a contrast coming from the hospital and seeing people lining the halls.Where was the manager? They should be supporting staff, it’s not up to some poor counter person to remind people to cover up until the law is changed.I’ll never go back to this store because the manager obviously doesn’t care about people.
Vanessa is the light that everyone needs in their lives. I was expecting today to be a harder day and she completely changed it around with her amazing customer service and beautiful personality! Thank you Vanessa!
This is a nice "neigjbourhood" coffee place, and has a friendly feel to it. The young staff are great! It's just a matter of figuring out when their slower times are, so you can snag a table. :)
Disgusting Goss and not worth the money. Line is way to big. It's not worth the time or the money
I don’t remember the girls name but she accidentally gave a bigger drink than I ordered and I may have seemed a little upset about it but I swear I didn’t mean to it actually made my day I was having a really bad morning and it made me smile I nearly cried when I got into my car
Staff is very helpful! Atmosphere is good because it’s off the beaten path and less busy because no drive thru.
I was in the Guisachan village, Kelowna Starbucks this morning and was served by Andonette and Graham! Best experience getting my coffee in my life! They prompt, funny and so pleasant! Changed me.. I used to be a Tim’s lover but no more as that kind of customer service never happens! Anywhere! I don’t live close to this Starbucks :(. But if anyone reading this does, go there! I’ll be jealous of you! I hope staff at other Starbucks are just as skilled with how they treat people as guisachan village! Their manager must be great! Staff with bad management never have that attitude. I’ve come here a couple of times too and have noticed all staff being friendly. Today’s experience was just extra special hence the reason for this review. Thank you Andonette and Graham!
