We ordered this takeout meal. It was fantastic! When I arrived to pick it up there were people waiting and every table was packed (730pm on a Saturday).The Cashew Chicken was delicious and the Pad Thai was amazing.
We took our boys (3&5) here for a late lunch. Service was amazing, considering we never expect special treatment for the kids and didn't ask for any. Our server suggested dishes they would like, brought out two Winnie-the-pooh kids' plates for them to split the dish (portions are generous), and the cook cooked the veggies a bit longer so they were softer to eat (but still so fresh and tasty!). Very thoughtful gestures. They also swapped the sauce for the chicken wings so it was not as spicy (although we all ended up sharing them and not using the sauce). Food came very quickly, which was appreciated since we were all super hungry, and everything was hot, fresh, and delicious. If we weren't from out of town, we'd be back for sure, but so glad to have found this little gem!
Worth the price.Had F1, F5, C2 and N5. The chicken was scarce and curry was thin. Rice won’t be repeated.Wish it was more expensive.
We used to order from here every week! My favourite dish is the cashew chicken (but I substitute tofu), though all of their curries are phenomenal as well. Satang's food tastes so fresh, authentic, and balanced. I enjoy other restaurants such as Zabb and Thai Terrace, but Satang is #1 in my books.
We just had a Khao Soi soup and it was absolutely AMAZING!!! We've been to Thailand many times and the Satang Thai cuisine is definitely authenticCan't wait to eat that Khao soi again and discover there menu!!
All and all the food is very delicious! I've been eating there since they opened. However, I do have a strong complaint. The Pad Thai over the last 3 years has gotten terrible. It's very dry and flavorless. I am guessing they tried to cut down the sauce? I'll still order it but I always order double sauce just to get it how it use to be. Unfortunate, because pad thai is such a staple of Thai restaurants. I hope they consider this and other feedback about this dish and change it!
We had great service and the food was delicious! They even had Kao Soi, our favorite dish from Northern Thailand!
Beautiful food prepared by beautiful people. Easily the best Thai food you will find throughout the Okanagan Valley. Have had the pleasure of dining here 15-20x over the past 4 years. Food quality, ingredient quality, and quality of staff are all 5/5. I love the cook, Nisha, and her team. Thank you SATANG!! You make Kelowna a better place for people to live.
The meal was delicious! Love the coconut base curries! A definite repeat.
Absolutely the worst Thai food I have ever had. Ordered the Pad Thai, noodles came all stuck together,over cooked and no flavor what so ever. Green curry dish smelt amazing but the sauce seperated and became lumpy also looks like they used frozen veggies vs fresh. Paid alot for this meal to be delivered to throw it in the garbage. Never again
