Food looks decent but service is just junk. The person just couldn’t listen for the life of her. The staff should understand they’re in the service industry and listening would go a long way.
Had the cookies and cream “shaved ice”. Shaved milk, not shaved ice (more people know what that is, I guess). Much better! Had a moment when the item was delivered that they had put red bean at the bottom (would have been authentic) but no, just chocolate ?. Yummy and didn’t run out of toppings as you sometimes do. ?Great snack while wandering the waterfront on a sunny day. ?
Very friendly staff who were helpful and kind. Small front patio area with a gorgeous view literally steps from the water. Would definitely recommend, if in the area!
First time at this poke place, the lady who took our orders constantly forgot what we requested as toppings and proteins, stopped tending to our order to talk to her co worker in the back, whenever new customers came in she would leave the station in the middle of scooping and take in new orders regardless of her co worker already going to them. She forgot our sushi orders even after paying for it and was very annoyed when we reminded her about our sushi.Horrendous service, decent food.
We ordered today over dash and I must say not worth the price we even added some extra protein on our order as we do need those fixings but it was not worth the extra money as it looked it was missed completely or the portion of the protein isn’t really nicely calculated. Flavour wise it was ok but I make it better. Won’t order it again
The taste is average, but they do have some more unique toppings (sesame miso hummus, red beets & basil). Portion size could be better for the price. I often go to Pokey Okey or Poke M (in Vancouver) and the amount of protein and base included is substantively more than what I received at Pacific Poke. At least they don't skimp on the sauce. Also paid $5 for their Coco Panda drink which was delicious, but wasn't even filled to the top of the plastic cup it came in. Would go back if I'm craving poke, but for the price and portion size, there might be better non-poke food options in the area.
They use DoorDash for deliveries, who decide at any point if they want to pick up or not. 90min+ we finally get a call to say our order wasn't being picked up. After further discussions with the store, they said they have constant problems with DoorDash but continue to use them. I don't know who is the weak link in all of this: DoorDash for being able to bail on deliveries whenever they want for no reason, or Pacific Poke for admitting to having a consistent problem with DD but still using them.
My boyfriend and I both had the Cali bowls. We were not disappointed. The ingredients were super fresh and the flavors were amazing. The setup of the restaurant is similar to a subway where you can make your own customized bowl or have a creation from the menu. Our server was super patient as it was my first time dining in. Great location. Parking may be a bit challenging since it's a busy area down town. Great place to go if you're looking for a gluten free dairy free option or your on one of those Paleo or keto diet.
I used to LOVE this place, told all my friends about it, and always super pleased. The last couple times have been a bit disappointing, its been hard to tell when its open, website will say one thing but it be closed when i get there, the portions I feel have gotten smaller, and its not been as flavorful, idk if recipies have changed or what. I still go because i love poke but its not the same
Very yummy bowl. The server was very helpful.
