Bouncer said he was full and let people in slowly when the bar was not packed and the dance floor was not super packed once the band came out for encore. Bartenders were saying you have to line in one spot if you want a drink which was abnormal to me. Not my crowd but mid 30s and up who are majority of patrons will be right at home here. Pool and foosball to play and cover band did lots of 90s songs. 5 dollar cover
Went in for a quick drink with friends, real nice atmosphere. Came back a few days later with other friends and ate some nachos, really good food and service ?
I was very disappointed with my experience yesterday at o’flans. My boyfriend and I were wanting to have a relaxing night out to play pool and dinner when we were rudely interrupted by your bartender.server .. asking about the hat I was wearing. I have not been to o’flans in about a year and the fact she was so aggressive over a hat was intimidating. I probably will not be back :)
Had stop at Kelowana. The big beard guy didn’t know how to communicate. He came across shouting at me get off stage. Rather then asking but shouting at me get off the floor and asked he to leave the bar. The only reason to go there if nothing else is available
Good food, good beer, good prices and good service. Everything you can ask for in an Irish pub in Kelowna. They were able to seat us as a large party pretty quickly, but the long table at the back kinda interfered with the billiards table, which we didn't mind. I had the beef dip and it was very tasty.
First...to let you know...you can order a drink to the table or you can get served at the friendly approachable Bar ....So with that... Very happy customers and very friendly staff...what a combo...service is fast and the food is great!!!! The bartenders are cool....they keep the flow of service smooth and fast while somehow they stay in control of their responsibility!!! Yes go there and you will love the place....and the staff and all they have to offer won't disappoint you....oh did I mention live music and dancing?..Awesome local talent and more!!!!! ? Check it out!!!!! Reliablerob
Had my first time karaoke night experience and it was amaaaaazing. So much fun and the spirit of the place was energetic and supportive. We came early before karaoke and the food was a lot (and great tasting) for a decent price. The drinks were top notch too! Great appletini and amaretto sours. One tiny slight isn't actually a slight but--if you're in your early twenties, thought karaoke night was lit and there were some people our age, there wasn't a huge crowd of gen z. Mostly millennials!
I normally don't write reviews, but O flannigan's is so terrible. The bouncer has such a big ego and is extremely rude to customers. When there was huge a line on St Patrick's day, he yelled at us for going into the foyer when we were next group up and there wasn't anyone ahead. And he also let his friend yell at us who didn't even work there. I know it was really busy that night, and potentially they were stressed and it was a one-off so I tried to give him the benefit even though that was no way to treat people. I went back the next weekend as unfortunately it's one of the few places with live music and there was so line and we got in right away. My friend goes up to the bar to buy drinks and now it was the bartender that was extremely rude to her. I just feel like this whole place is off; the energy, the small space, the smell, and the rudeness of staff. You're MUCH better off at BNA.
Just dirty in appearance, experience and company. Good music. Lots of coked out creeps. Only 2 waitresses working a busy Saturday shift. Saw a woman pulled outside in a choke hold by the head bouncer.
Went for Wednesday Karaoke and it was ahhh-mazing! Great host, tons of great singers and a decent special on Pilsner. I wish they had a bit wider if a selection of songs, but plenty of performers seemed to have what they needed to belt out some killer tunes
