Ordered butter chicken, wanted it to be spicy. Well, chicken was so hard and it was not fresh at all. Called in to complain about it, they said “it can’t just happen that the chicken is not fresh” and offered me to replace it. I went there again to pick up the replacement, guess what it was the same, chicken was hard as rock and gravy was salty( well there is difference between salty and spicy and I asked for it to be hot not salty ). I have been a regular customer here since the time they opened their business.There quality of food use to be very good. But they have started using spoiled food in the kitchen.I would not buy anything from here again.
It was our first time trying New Punjab, and it was a good experience.I tend to read comments before visiting a new place, and I was a bit unsure about this restaurant, but I am happy that we tried it.The food was good, and the prices were reasonable.We were a big group, and they accommodated us to sit close to one another.The waiting time was not that long, and our server took good care of us.
Frozen grocery store food deep fried, most likeky from Maharaja grocery next dooir. Pre packaged frozen Indian kebobs and Samosas, Veg, curry tasteless Palak paneer. over salty and yet bland and lifeless. Lassi, never had Lassi that was like watery yogurt, Lassi should be thick and fresh fruity like a milkshake, Shame, For 90 bucks, dissappointment Also 45 min late
I had ordered shahi paneer yesterday and this is what I got does it look like shahi paneer it seems more like curry, I got really frustrated , the quality of food was really worse, taste bitter and I am 100% sure that it was expired food not the fresh one, I got food allergy right after I ate, would never suggest anyone to order from this awful place
Phenomenal.I have ordered food from this restaurant as my go-to for nearly a year now and it never fails to shock me. Frankly, I have no idea why I would dine anywhere else, the meals here are heavenly, a straight god send. The butter chicken, my first choice, has lean, tender chunks of chicken that are gigantic. No other butter chicken dish rivals this lovely work of art (believe me, I have tried many). The naan is beautifully spiced and the chai tea is clearly made in house.I would recommend this fine establishment to anyone who likes Indian food or even people who don’t. It is life changing.
Excellent Indian food. I can't comment on the customer service or ambiance, as I've only ever ordered takeout. However, the food is incredibly flavorful, the spice level is excellent, and prices are reasonable! The Lamb Korma and Naan are a household favorite...would recommend!
Waited a long time for food. One of the dishes smelled like burnt plastic and when we told the girl waitress she didn't understand and still charged us even tho we didn't eat it. Aswell to top it off my father was up all night throwing up and had a bad case of diarrhea...thank gawd we didn't eat any of his butter chicken. He was the only one that got sick out of the 6 of us. We love curry but sure won't be going back to this place. To risky.
Friendly staff and great food
I usually go to them for sweets but they are just about ok, not so great or something to recommend. I wish they had someone making fresh sweets here but they all get it from some place or the other. Indian sweets look and taste much better than they actually sell it here so a disappointment plus there isn't a lot of selection out here in Kelowna, hardly a shop or 2 that sells Indian sweets plus the rates of the sweets are high too. But if you are craving for something sweet then do pay a visit. You can check out their kaju katli, kaju roll, doda barfi and gajar barfi
Customer service sucks at this restaurant. They don’t know how to handle customers and how to greet them. I ate my food and waited 15 minutes just to pay for my stuff. They didn’t even come to ask me anything. Wouldn’t come again. A server name “Simmi” i think, she is just rude. Wouldn’t recommend anyone for dine in here. One star just for the food. Would give 0 to customer service.
