Sushi was yummy for the price! Will likely get it again, however my only real complaint is in my order for take-out, the last piece of tuna in my Negitoro roll was discoloured (Brown veering into black), smelled & tasted 'fishy'. This is something that could be absolutely be avoided. But the other two times I've ordered, it's be fine so ??♀️
Over all not bad. Poor value, but fast and fresh.
I was disappointed with the food and environment in Mizu. It is quite small and messy inside. The food is okay for takeout or if you just want to grab something quickly for lunch. But I would not recommend if you expect authentic Japanese food for a dinner.
Mizu has been our go-to place for many years for take out. We usually order a sushi box each plus another side. I have to admit it's just not as good as it used to be. Portions are smaller and the the box of different sushi/sashimi was a mess.
All I asked was for one vegetable out of the yakisoba and they canceled my orders both times because they couldn’t do it even though the last time they did.. inconsistent
Service was not good. The atmosphere was like you had interrupted their peace. The sushi rolls looked like they were made from someone who made sushi for the first time in their lives. I wish I had my phone to take photo at the time, it was almost comical. They were very sloppy looking rolls, and that is Very disappointing for a sushi restaurant, when chefs are supposed to take pride in the presentation. That’s part of what sushi making is all about. Maki rolls were barely bigger then a jiffy marker, and all the rolls fell apart as soon as they were lightly dipped in soya sauce. Never going back to pay for sushi that I can make better at home. Used to love this place years ago but this experience was nothing like it use to be. Maybe I caught them on a bad day ?♀️
This place doesn't look like much when you walk in, but when guys in 3 piece suits show up, that gives you a good idea the food will be good, and it was. Beautiful presentation and tasted fantastic. Kind staff as well. Will definitely be going again.
Brought my sweetheart for a quick bite. The server was kind, and hospitable. It was a busy lunch rush with dine-in and take out clients. She did super well. The food was great on top of that. Fresh sashimi and the karaage was tender and crispy. We only had take out before, but Im very happy with the dine in visit. Give the server a raise! She hustles well!
Mizu has very good Japanese food and it's fresh. Definitely recommend eating at this restaurant.
