Mekong is one of my absolute favourite Chinese restaurants. The best part is? Almost everything on the menu can be gluten free! If you have celiac or gluten intolerance, it's a great place to be. The people are always so lovely, and the food is so delicious. I have been going here for years, and I have not once gotten sick due to cross contamination. The owners are also so nice. All around just always a great experience.
I was there recently and the price was decent for the amount and quality of food that was given. I was happy with the service and the menu was traditional authentic Chinese food while there were also aspects that the owner's added to give it a modern twist.
Waited on hold 6 minutes then they hung up. Tried out Asian Pear, it was wonderful! Skip these guys, with reading the other reviews it’s apparent they’re inept at running a business.
We had a group buffet dinner. There was a lot of food, they catered well to vegetarians. The food was generally bland and the noodles soggy. It filled the hole and it was well set up for big groups.
Close to a lot of hotels, good prices, very good and warm service.Food was a little heavy on the fried side but delicious nonetheless.
First time ever my family decided to walk out a restaurant after sitting down because the attitude of the waitress. We’re just travelling through town and decided to have some Chinese food. When we got in the restaurant was almost empty but the waitress asked, unfriendly, if we have a reservation. We told her that we don’t. She asked us to come back in half an hour. Seeing the place was almost empty we asked why. She said she has to arrange the table for us. We told her we could just wait in the restaurant. She reluctantly said yes. Few minutes we later the tables were arranged and we sat down and waiting for the waitress. When she came out, with an unwelcoming tone she said “ you need to make your reservation next time” and then she walked away again. We all felt like we’re not welcome to the restaurant and decided to leave and take our business somewhere else. We don’t know what was the matter with the waitress but now understand why the place was so empty. We’ll make sure to make reservations next time, that is if there is a next time.
If your looking for awesome food, not just sushi, also other Chinese food and the service here is amazing, and reasonably priced. The ambience if family friendly, and can also be romantic.
We have ordered from Mekong before. Until about a year ago it was first class Chinese food. Not anymore. A few months ago I ordered 2 Large Hot and Sour soup and a few other dishes for delivery. Upon opening the bag we discovered they substituted Wonton. I don’t care for Wonton so I telephoned them. The order taker told me it was my mistake. She said I ordered Wonton. Thinking well anyone can make a mistake yesterday I ordered One large Hot and Sour soup. Now priced at $16.99 for pick up. At home decided to check how many shrimp included. Not one! Other than a few vegetables what is left is broth.$16.99 for broth. Any bets that I will ever order anything from this fraudulent restaurant again? Sadly what used to be a great place is now less than ordinary.

We have done the out here 6 times in 6 months . We are not connoisseurs but really enjoy the breaded chicken options as well as the egg rolls and fried rice.
