HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I’m not one to complain, especially supporting a small family owned business in a quaint community, however the owners are so rude and absolutely ungrateful to have the location they do. I don’t trust this place. The friendly staff should be looking for somewhere else to work. If you’re around the area, go to Bread & Co!
My breakfast burrito was delicious. I thought the price was too high for what I got but I'm not disappointed. They gave me a number on a stand to put at my table and I though 'perfect, they'll bring it to my table'. But no they called my number to go up and get it. There was only one other guy there so you'd think that they would have brought it to my table? The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was nice. I did enjoy my breakfast and I'll try again some other time. Maybe next time it'll be busy and I won't complain about the lack of table service. One last note, it wasn't very loud in the Cafe. I liked that.
I honestly believe local businesses always deserve love and good reviews even if they are not doing very well. However, this is a different situation. I never go back to this place again. The employees had their mask on their chin, not on their face. They do not ask for vaccine passport.A few people were coughing, and they did not have good air circulation. The tables were not clean. The washroom wasn't clean. They had 2 employees running around, but they couldn't provide service to all customers. No one was cleaning the tables between customers.Food wasn't good. It also took a very long time to be ready. The bread was old and didn't taste good. Not only do I feel like I'm having food poisoning, but I feel like I'm having a cold as well. I should have walked out the moment I realized they do not follow any of the mandates. If you wish to get sick, go to this place.I'm really disappointed. If I do get more sick and end up going to the hospital, I will definitely report them.
Had some nice food options staff polite but constantly touching mask then food ... but the whole seating area/condiments section needs a good cleaning... there's rustic & then camp cleanliness...
I waited over 20 minutes for a sandwich to go. A pre made sandwich as the lady working took the time to tell me. I asked twice what was taking so long and the girl working said the people in the back are working on it. There was nobody in front of me. Once the sandwich finally came it was on a glass plate to stay. This experience was very infuriating that nobody was acknowledging me or had any sense of urgency to help me. Not one person apologized or recognized the problem.
Good coffee that was half a cup of foam. The food is extemely overpriced for the low quality ingredients, taste, and portion size. They also did not have 3 of the items that we wanted. Our sandwich got switched half way through for another as our first one was brought to the table. The table next to us had the same issue - being told the option isn't available after having paid.
The last three times I have gone for the chicken sandwich ( which used to be my favorite sandwich of all time) has been made incorrectly. I'm complaining today solely because this time my cranberry sauce is missing. Which is the only reason I ever get this sandwich. Not only did they forget the cranberry sauce they added mayo. Before my last three experiences 1 would have rated this place a 4 out of 4. Im just not sure why they cannot seem to get this sandwich right! ?
It's got a nice vibe inside, and the coffee is ok, not the best in the area but it's ok, there are lots of choices of baked goodies and lunch time fare, there aren't many if any GF choices, just as an FYI
Nice little café and the service was very friendly!! I had the brie sandwich and it was super good!
First time in that place. Great customer service and coffee and muffin I got was awesome. I definitely would be back.
