Sorry no picture of the food! The first bite of the homemade pasta with the homemade sauce is trip to heaven. It was too late to take a picture before I realized it! ( I had Spaghetti Di Salsa Capriccio added chicken, a piece of Mamma Rosa special pizza, and a bite of Ravioli Di Pollo) Great services and super friendly waitresses with nice smiles, patiently waiting and helpful when we were indecisive! I will move in if possible?
When asked who the current chef was they said " uhm james?". The ownership mustve changed or gaetano has become to old to cook, either way the food is NOT what it used to be.Bison carpaccio was excellent though
I got recommendation from my colleague to visit this restaurant. The service was great and fast, wine delicious, mussels fantastic cause they were cooked in light sauce and my pasta with lobster was amazing as well. I would recommend if you like seafood and European style of restaurant. I really enjoyed it. ?
I saw a low review and went to find out for myself. had seafood on veal with a side of home-made spaghetti and bolognese sauce plus some Tiramisu for dessert. They were all large portions of freshly homemade carefully sourced ingredients but the veal just wasn’t good (both the veal and the scallops fought the griddle somehow). The dessert was delicious.
We have been going to Mama Rosas for years. It has always been a top pick for our family dinner out. Tonight was very disappointing. The pasta which was supposed to be homemade but was so heavy and floury tasting, it masked any sauce or other ingredients. The pesto was strong and prawns were under cooked. The dessert tray was wrapped in triple plastic so you couldn’t possibly tell what they were or be tempted. Far from the Italian food that used to be sooo good.

Dinner was great! Had the Lobster Canneloni and my date had the lasagna bolognese very filling and just delicious!
Went on the way home last night from airport. Hubby wanted pasta....young girl was waitresse ....how she spoke to us was disrespectful....I'm not her hun. Any how. Food was gross. Meatballs were not home made tasted like the bag stuff from Wal-Mart pizza I asked for little cheese. Oh it comes with little cheese. Nope ti much. Card board no taste . Never again
Delicious and fresh. Server was friendly and hospitable. Often visited when I travelled to Kelowna while working. Had to go back now that I’m retired. Still great, no disappointments for us.
Never again!!! My pasta was cold and tasted like can bolognese. The service was not that good either! I had to pay 50$ because I had 7 friends with me. No refill so I had to pay for another drink. A Italien restaurant don’t know how to cook and uses Can sauce.
