Went for the first time.Had the tues burger special.Was absolutely delicious !Best burger out I've had for ages.Great price & server was very good & friendly. ?Will definitely go back.
The four of us went to chances on new years day.My husband and I had been to longshots upstairs before and enjoyed the steak sandwich.They no longer have it on their menu.I had the caesar salad with tempura shrimp.It wasn`t that great kind of soggy.The garlic bread was cold dried out and tasteless.Another had the chicken breast with veggies,and it seemed like the meal was heated up in the microwave.Veggies were cold chicken was tough.We were there maybe 5 -10 mins and our dinner was ready.We were very disappointed and will check out the snack bar instead.We told the waitress but she didn`t really seem to care,although she was pleasant.We won`t be back.We understood it was a holiday but no excuse.
Love this place! Longshots has excellent deals on food, and it tastes great too! The staff are always smiling and give excellent customer service. Try it, you won't be disappointed.
Small menu, but the food is absolutely delicious and the dishes are not made to be too ambitious or fancy. Very friendly staff!

Worst experience I've ever had at an establishment. Took forever to serve us, the waitress was short with us from the moment we sat down. Took even longer for us to get our first drink and by the time we got them we were told we were "cut off for an hour because we drank them too fast." Maybe if they hadn't taken so long to serve us we wouldn't have finished them so fast and singles go down alot faster when there's more ice than drink. Didn't help we were between the ages of 23-25. Wondering if they treat their patrons over 40 with the same mannerisms. Agism at it's worst. Will never return there again.

A unique setting over "Chances" casino up a lovely staircase. A the top to your right is a sports book for Horse Racing. To the left is the restaurant set in a semi circle so you do not get the big"ROOM" effect.Different style of seating from the usual Table and chairs, to the more Lounge type (Too Low for Dining) and high chairs and tables (Some have Electronic Gaming Devises). It was a Friday evening but no Roughrider Football game on so it was not very crowded. They did not have a "Greeter" and being our first time we were unsure about walking in and finding a table or wait to be seated, It was the former. Once seated a server appeared promptly with menus and asking about drinks. Reading the menu it was soon evident that the fair ran to Burgers at a"Sports Bar".Being a special occasion we opted for the "Breaded Wild Cod". I was expecting Chip but instead got Rice Pilaf (cold). My error I should have read the menu more carefully. For veggies we got Warm,RAW carrots and cauliflower.Not very appetizing. In defense of the meal the COD was excellent, nicely cooked and not too much Breading. When our server was clearing away she ask if we enjoyed our meal? I expressed my disappointment with the Pilaf and the Veggies in particular. She said she was sorry to hear that and would pass it along to management. Management responded with a monetary adjustment to our bill (I neither sought nor expected this). She said the management did not want us to leave with a bad experience. Good on them. We will try another time and try the Burgers. The price and quantity were good.
I recently went to long shot lounge after a long work day to enjoy some appetizers and a few drinks with some friend's. Unfortunately we all ranged between the ages of 26-30 so we were immediately judged by the staff who were 50+. Took forever to serve us. I ordered one drink and because it took so long to serve us I drank it a little faster than expected. The server proceeded to cut me off for the next 45 mins due to the fact her boss was watching me and "I drank my drink to fast". I understand the laws here but if I was older looking and the same scenario took place would I be held accountable like I had been? Doubt it.. not coming back. Ever.
