Had a great experience here! The small restaurant had a nice cozy layout. Smaller, curated menu with the main meals ranging from 28-41 dollars. We got the crab risotto and duck gnocchi. They were both fairly small portions but the flavours were great. Definitely more of a special night out kind of dinner, and not a daily dine in place… but we enjoyed it nonetheless!
Fantastic for some comfort food on a cold November evening! The braised beef short rib was absolutely fantastic! I’ll be back to have this again - I sure hope they don’t take it off the menu. The oysters to start and a lovely bottle of red wine were also nice touches. Great experience!
Wow!!!! What a find. This Kelowna restaurant was 2 thumbs up. My hat is off to the chef. An abundance of flavours, Krafty Kitchen is hands down a gastronomic explosion. From taking devilled eggs to the next level to their gnocchi little pillows of bliss.Get in here and give this restaurant a try.
The breakfast was really good and the portions are really big. I couldn't finish my bowl. The service wasn't that good. The waiter did not checked on us and we had to wait for almost 30min to ask him for our bill. The music was really loud for such asmall place. Overall I liked the breakfast and will go back.
We were meeting some friends for dinner yesterday. The restaurant is small. Our waiter was friendly and up to date with the menu. We ordered some drinks and a bottle of wine with Pulled crab salad, Seafood risotto and the lamp rack. The Seafood Risotto was very tasty, The lamb rack was tender and cooked perfectly, I did not care for the stuff underneath the lamb, it tasted like scrambled eggs. It did not go with that excellent piece of lamb. As for the pulled crab salad, although very tasty was lacking in the presentation. The prices are in line with other places in town, a bit on the expensive side. I am not complaining, they had a rough go with this Covit going on for so long and are just trying to stay a float. All in all we had a very pleasant evening out. As a professional in the Restaurant and hotel industry I can recommend the Krafty for a nice dining experience.
Came here for dinner and drinks with some friends. We were sitting at a table enjoying our drinks when we noticed one of the chefs was wasted while working. It was was very noticeable as it’s an open kitchen concept and he was very loud slurring things. As we were sitting there we watched the chef eat off someone’s plate.... a customers food. They sat there just horrified. We didn’t know what to do as it was someone else as the night they offered to make that couple another dessert. The experience really changed my view as that is outright disgusting especially during COVID season.
Had a good meal, nice outdoor seating area. Appetizers were great, especially a tofu dish they have. Had the steak for entree. Overall fine but the potato side was underseasoned and the cut wasn't great so I'd probably try something else next time. Go for the custard over the carrot cake for dessert, had barely any icing on it.
One of the most memorable burgers and carrot cake my wife and I have ever had. Seriously, the burger is huge and has so many great flavors that hit you all at once. The carrot cake is moist and rich, plus you get a very generous helping of cream cheese icing on top. Super friendly staff and a cool vibe make this place worth visiting. Don't miss out on this great spot!
Fantastic Staff and great food. For an appetizer I had the steak tartar and it was classic and well prepared. Main course, Pork Belly. While the dish was rather rich, the use of the heirloom tomatoes was perfect to cut through the fats and creaminess in the meal to give a balanced flavour. I also highly recommend letting the bartender make you something fun. Tonights drink was a clover club, and despite not planning on dessert, it was the perfect end to the meal and cut through the remaining richness perfectly.
We had an amazing experience at Krafty. Our server Kevin was a superstar and the food, oh the food was so good! From starters to dessert, everything was delicious. Yes it is a bit pricy but it definitely worth it.
