I was greeted with the friendliest of any greetings. I was given the option to choose my own seat and chill. The food did take a bit but when it came out I have never had a home cooked meal quite like this in a restaurant. I ordered the shepherds pie. The food was amazing. I hope anyone who comes out here appreciates this service the same way I have.
With hard work and perseverance we have built an amazing team at the grizzly bear and encourage everyone to come and try our new menu , tasty food , warm atmosphere and wonderful service…. ?
I've changed my review and opinion of the Grizzly since my last post (from a 1 to a 5) since they've got new cooks who are fantastic! We had the poutine with beef and dried ribs & it was great!Jaryn was our server and she was absolutely wonderful! Excellent food and service, and it's such a pleasure to see them back in the game. A great place to stop for a bite and drinks.
We were greeted & seated by the manager Anthia she also took our order. Very friendly and professional! She made a fresh pot of coffee for me which was very good my wife had ice tea which she enjoyed as well! We both had the cheese burgers and fries...omg what a filling tasty meal...definitely recommend this platter!!! Great dining experience...we will be back!!!
I made a reservation last week for Mother’s Day Brunch however when our party of 4 arrived the doors were closed and the restaurant wasn’t even open. Their restaurant information needs to be updated ASAP!!!! ??
We had the worst lunch. We wanted breakfast but they didn’t have that. We wanted chicken and waffles and they didn’t have that. It was disappointing, I felt over charged and I won’t go back.
Celebrated a small reunion with friends. They were out of everything we ordered . We could have walked out but the server had a good sense of humour . We settled on whatever they had available.
Not at all what I expected! Noisy customers rude sitting around the bar area. Plus were told they weren't serving literally half their menu items. We had an event planned for an hour half away therefore had no time to walkout and try to eat at another restaurant, especially since it was a Friday night. We are from out of town meeting family - would not return.
I love a good mac n cheese. If you do as well I wouldn't order it here. It seemed to have some other type of pasta sauce, couldn't taste any cheese, was absolute mush. The flavour and texture were just odd. Maybe they had an off night. I was very disappointed to pay nearly $20 for something I just couldn't eat.
VERY VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! We went there last summer and it was quite pleasant. Our server then was friendly and engaging; we even asked if he was the owner. The food was very good. Something has gone VERY VERY VERY WRONG!!! This time our server yelled from somewhere(?) "be right there". She immediately told us about the limited menu because they are just reopening after some staff (especially kitchen) changes. She shared too much of her opinion of the previous staff. This time the food, that we could order, was NOT good at all! The wings were extraordinarily over cooked, dry and flavorless. The salad was unremarkable and the dressing was obviously from a store bought bottle (a no-name brand). The fries also dissatisfying - not sure where they got them but I wouldn't order them again. Frankly, I would not go back to this restaurant if I was starving and someone else was buying.p.s. forgot to mention they served a completely short poured amateur martini and the entire experience extremely OVERPRICED!p.s.s. the more I recall our experience, I wish I felt comfortable disputing the payment on my VISA. No one should pay for the food or service we endured yesterday. Seriously the worst restaurant I've ever tried!
