Drag brunch performers were amazing. Food was sub par, cold, precooked and took forever! Finally arrived after the show was over. Our server was on something? She couldn't focus, didn't remember anything and couldn't communicate. She wrecked the day for all 8 of us. Drinks took 45 mins because they ran out of ingredients... yet no one said anything or offered another choice.
Finding them quite frustrating to deal with. We tried calling them many times over the past week to make a reservation, both during and before business hours, but no reply and no calls back to our voicemails. I’m sure the actual place is good but actually getting a reservation is extremely frustrating.
I'm really disappointed with the experience I had at Dorthys lounge last night. Our server brought me a "complimentary" glass of champagne, because it was my birthday. I thought that was extremely kind and generous of them to do that. However, when we later looked our bill we realized we were charged for the glass of champagne that I didn't even order? I find that really strange..?
Really disappointing visit. We were so excited for brunch here, but everything took an unreasonable amount of time - from being acknowledged when we came in to getting our bill and all in between. Our child’s waffle breakfast was literally just a waffle. No fruit or hash browns, or even syrup. Her drink was forgotten entirely (it did arrive in the end, comp’d) and while our water was always topped up, no one once offered to refill our coffee. The food was so yummy and we loved the atmosphere & decor, but we won’t be back. The price tag is far from justified.
We found this place by accident and went for a couple drinks. We loved it so much that we came back later that day and were delighted to find out it was game night. Definitely a new favorite.
AMAZING experience! Drinks are great staff are kind, I had the absolute best time here with my friends chatting with nearby tables, watching the drag show and laughing!
Had a fun night out for a friends birthday here. The food and drinks were good the atmosphere was fun!
Have now had more than one negative experience with new bar manager unfortunately.Most recently this weekend we had emailed and and called to confirm table reservation for a friends birthday, and was told it was booked - reservation was confirmed. We show up, to be told the booking wasn't actually made, and there was no space for us. 'Sorry' is fine...but it spoils people's birthday plans.Generally pretty unimpressed with the few encounters I have now had with the new manager Kieran. Hopefully everything improves soon - used to love this place!
I just came in for the jimbo show and I really enjoyed the show from all the performers, but we were left out with tipping. Ella visited and sat down with all the tables down the back except for us, and passed us on the other side taking tips. Valerie got us with the boot but a debit option with the host might have been nice too.
This was our first time going to a drag brunch and it was exceptional! The staff performance has us laughing to the point of tears. The entire staff was very friendly and the food was excellent. Highly recommend you adding a stop to your itinerary!
