Wow!! Finally a restaurant in Kelowna who makes excellent pizza! Sauce was awesome. Crust so tasty!! The best part??!! THEY PUT THE MOZZARELLA CHEESE ON TOP OF THE SAUCE THEN PUT THE INGREDIENTS ON TOP OF THE CHEESE!!! Instead of most of the other restaurants who put the ingredients UNDER the cheese...leaving the ingredients half cooked. GUESS WHAT? THE INGREDIENTS ACTUALLY COOK WHEN ON TOP OF THE CHEESE! DEFINITELY THE BEST PIZZA IN THE OKANAGAN VALLEY!!
We stopped in for happy hour/early dinner today on the back deck and had the best service from Abby! We live in the area and have always had great food and service at Famoso. I have been meaning to leave reviews in the past, and today decided I would. The pizza and meatballs were superb and wine and beer excellent and very decent prices! Sweet Abby made our experience extra special today! Will see you again soon! Thanks Abby and Famoso staff ?
Ordering take out over the phone was a good experience. Famoso picked up the phone almost immediately, they took my order and read it back to be afterwards to confirm, and they had my food ready in about 10 minutes. Price was very reasonable for a delicious fire roasted pizza, they did a healthy amount of toppings and the crust was perfectly made.Location was great, the restaurant was beautiful and lots of seating - opened concept and they have outdoor seating.Staff was very friendly upon arrival for pick up - spoke very kind to me the whole time ( everyone who was working there seemed happy and that they enjoyed their position )Parking was good there was some 30mins free parking, there was also paid parking on the street and then another large lot behind the building which was also paid parking.

We ordered from Famoso many many times over 3 years and we think their pizzas were the best in Kelowna, we just loved it. We ordered today again and were very disappointed, the pizzas are not the same at all, the dough was kind of chewy the menu was changed and have less options than before. Overall, pizza tasted very different from what we used to order before. Not a special pizza place anymore...
Sat on the lovely front patio and honestly had the best restaurant experience that I’ve had in BC, maybe ever? Everyone we spoke to was super lovely and helpful and the food was delicious. Sadly I didn’t get our server’s name but they were amazing. They even gave me a tide pen without prompting when she noticed that I dropped a little sauce on my shirt.
I stopped to have lunch at Famoso on a Sunday shortly after opening time and I'm glad I did. I ordered a pizzette with Caesar salad and they arrived at my table in about 10 minutes. Both tasted delicious. The server was friendly and attentive. I would definitely go back there for another meal the next time I visit Kelowna.
Great happy hour. Our waitresses were polite, helpful and efficient. The Mediterranean platter is a great share plate. My friends raved about the meat balls. The tiramisu is a generous portion and insanely delicious (might have dreams about it for months). Love the pesto pizza (and this is from someone who really doesn't like pizza). The music was reasonably low allowing us to have a conversation without raising our voices.
First time visiting a Famoso in awhile and definitely not what I thought it used to be . Our server (or who we thought was our server) was never around to top drinks leaving the manager/another server to attend to us . Food was below average, the Carbonara tasted like Alfredo sauce and the pizza was very wet on the top , overall not a great experience and we will go elsewhere
Service was great and the place had a lovely atmosphere. The pizza wasn’t great though. There were too many ingredients piled on with huge arugula pile on top.
