I always stop into De Dutch when I'm in Kelowna. I love the interesting menu which includes classic breakfast items with a Dutch twist. Their coffee and service aren't always the best, but the food more than makes up for it in my experience. If you are in town for any length of time I would recommend popping in for breakfast.
I really wanted to try this place, I had driven past it a few times and was looking forward to something better/different than all the chains out there. The staff was very nice, and our waitress was very polite, fast and responsive. The food on the other hand was just not that great. The hash browns were under-cooked and almost crunchy, the pannekoek had a strange texture to it, and the rusk on the eggs bennedict was just stale bread. Food didn't justify the cost, and I left wishing I had stopped at a chain. Bummer.
Went here for breakfast while on vacation. The food was delicious and the proportions were great as well! The coffee was so good, not bitter at all. Service was amazing and fast and our server was just lovely. Will definitely be back
Waitress was very kind. No seniors menu so I was told I could have 1/2 order of eggs benedict. 1 egg + hashbrowns came to $18.I believe I was to have a 2nd side, I did not get, in addition this is far from 1/2 price for a full order. I mentioned this to the waitress and she said that unfortunately the computer prices it that way....?Very disappointed. Beyond expensive, not senior portion friendly and will not return nor be recommending to anyone.
Went in today for breakfast, the hostess said there was a 25-30min wait… No worries, I asked if I could add my name to the list and get called when my table is ready. She said they don’t do that. Literally the first place I’ve heard that won’t do that nowadays. I value my time and they should value their customer time as well. There was no one else waiting so I’m wondering how the waiting time can be 25-30min if there’s no one else waiting and they won’t give calls when it’s your turn so obviously those people would’ve had to be waiting there. Poor customer service and place looks old and outdated.
It was voted best breakfast for a reason! I got the pancooken with cream cheese, strawberry, and whipped cream. It is absolutely delicious and the orange juice tasted freshly squeezed! I went there with a group of people who I was visiting with and we are all extremely impressed with how good it tasted!If you're looking for breakfast in Kelowna, highly recommended eating here!
Nice breakfast place, clean and good service. Good coffee ☕ . Quality of the food was great and of course you pay for that. The meal and coffee cost me 30 CAD.
Not good food. Considering the somewhat high pricing we assumed higher quality food for a chain, but that was definitely not the case. Other breakfast chains have way better food for half the cost. Bathroom was gross and dirty as well.
Always good food and good service. Definitely a good place to take the family for breakfast.
Large portions, orange juice was a treat, hash browns not good but they replaced with another side, french toast a little dry, nice service, enjoyed the eggs benedict.
