My wife and I have driven past this place several times and never had time to stop in. Today we made the stop and we were not disappointed. The best Indian food I've had. I'm not a big butter chicken fan but the butter chicken here was amazing!
We just tried Da Tandoor tonight. We were pleasantly surprised. The curries were rich and flavourful, and the service was decent. The chicken Tikka in particular was too notch. Well marinaded and cooked just right. The veggie pakoras were light and well seasoned and all the curries were well presented. We eat a lot of Indian food (in more than a few different countries) and this was worth mentioning. In the last two weeks we have tried two other Indian places in Kelowna, looking for a good caliber, authentic restaurant. I won’t review the not so good ones out of respect to them, but I do want to call out when a place is above par. And this place is. Definitely recommend the chicken Tikka! Thanks and we will be back.
Me and my friend went there on my birthday. Food was really delicious. Very impressed from restaurant Covid-19 protocols and warm greeting from the staff. Server by named aman was so polite. Thank for everything to make my birthday greatful. Can’t wait to visit again
Best place to visit and i love the mango shake they prepared. every time we visit we always order mango shake i love it and the staff they are very nice always ready to help . I recommend others to visit here .
We ordered three meals: lamb vindaloo, lamb kebob, and a chicken kebob to go.They were out of lamb kabob, so my wife ordered lamb Mahto (I think it was).The vindaloo was good, although I ordered a hot (5 out of 6) and it definitely wasn't hot enough.The mahto was okay, but it wasn't quite to my wife's taste. She is Asian and is very particular about her rice and she felt it was not up to her standards.We took the kabob to go, but found when we arrived home it was actually pakora, not kebab. I wanted to return and complain but decided it wasn't worth the time.
we were having so bad experience with ustadd g today.we ordered food like malai champ and they gave us chicken.we all are pure vegetarians.We are really upset.Moreover,we called in store instead of apologizing,the man name harminder singh so straight face,he said call uber for refund.we are not gonna order food again from this restaurant.
The food here is great! The customer service was amazing too, the person who served us is so kind and friendly. Definitely recommend coming.
NEVER RECOMMEND WORST SERVICE AND FOOD IN TOWN. Spoiled our Christmas dinner completely, my friends drove 4 hours to visit all they wanted to have was a good Indian meal. I wish i could give you guys -5. The staff was so rude and arrogant. Dishes were undercooked, didn’t get our order right, an entire side dish was missing, never served it but still charged it in the bill until we asked them to remove it. The manager herself was undertrained and disrespectful she literally said “Thank You and have a good night” while we were still standing their paying our bill. Didn’t even bothered to ask what was wrong all she cared about was us to leave.
Food was not bad. Ordered online and paid in person but price was completely off. When asked why two different pricing was told if you want price online you have to pay online. ?
