We arrived with our family from out of town. We are locals but had not been to Cedar Creek under the new ownership. Kate greeted us warmly, was knowledgeable and started us off with a lovely glass of wine. She introduced us to Kit who took us thru the tasting. A lovely local young lady who did a really fine wine tasting for us. I had worked at Mission Hills years ago and it was great to see the same 5 star service here at Cedar Creek. Our family had wine shipped back home for them to enjoy. Thank you Kate and Kit for your kindness and warm hospitality. You are wonderful ambassadors for the winery.
We had a great experience at Cedar Creek. Our guest who is from Napa Valley loved this place and she said and it was by far one of the best she has ever had. We tasted their 5 wines and we lived the whites.Highly recommended. Caitlin took great care of us, explaining all the details with patience and a big smile. Will be coming back again soon.
This was my first time visiting CedarCreek in person but I have been a platinum member for a few years now. The drive up to the winery was beautiful, everything about the facility is outstanding, particularly the new addition of the Aspect facility. However what really made our tasting experience outstanding was our very knowledgeable hostess, Emily Mott! She went above and beyond and educated us but also made our visit very memorable. I look forward to coming back again and having Emily look after us!
As locals who live 5 minutes away from Cedar Creek, we often forget what we have right in our backyard. My girlfriend and I live right down the road from Cedar Creek but hadn’t visited since their renovation, until today. We were blown away by the quality of service we received from Emily Mott (“like Mott’s Clamato but without the royalties” ;)), our self-proclaimed wine-tasting ambassador (a title we love and feel all wine tasting staff should employ). We were similarly enchanted with Cedar Creek’s wines, particularly the Viognier!! The atmosphere was lovely: being fireside on the patio was a delight. We opted for the food pairing with a tasting and were surprised by the deliciousness of the white bean spread, focaccia, house pickles, and bacon. Beautiful presentation, to boot!Having said all that, the execution of the food pairing could have been improved: we were expecting small bites paired with each sample of wine but instead received one plate to share mid-tasting. The price for this then, was perhaps a bit steep. It was a lovely experience but less a food pairing than a tasting with an appy. Cedar Creek might consider renaming this experience or charging less for it. Adding chocolate to the red wine tasting might be well-received! ;-)Overall, a wonderful experience to share with friends and loved ones. We live so close and the wine was very good, so we will likely be back.
Every time I visit Cedar Creek it is an excellent experience. All the staff go above and beyond when it comes to service. We have had lunch and dinner at Home Block and a wine tasting in the tasting room as well as in the Aspect Building. It is definitely a 5 star experience for all. I look forward to bringing my family when they visit this summer. Cedar Creek is currently my favourite winery to visit. It is the only winery that I can say I enjoyed every wine. Its hard not to sign up for wine club when the wine is so good! If you get a chance to visit you won’t be disappointed!
Lovely place and great tasting room overlooking the lake, but the staff seemed disinterested. It was really hot and uncomfortable as we got a table under direct sunlight and they refused to change it even there was other empty table. Food pairing was good. Went their with high expectations but our experience was ok due to bad seating option and inattentive staff.
The food was outstanding the chef is very creative. Our server Travis was amazing! Will definately go back. Signed up to be a wine club member enjoyed the wine so much.
We had a lovely time at Cedar Creek. Great wines, beautiful views, stunning architecture, and wonderful service. Hailey was very attentive during our tasting - she convinced us to buy a bottle of the 2020 Platinum Chardonnay. No regrets.
What a wonderful experience. Doug was our tour guide and was incredibly knowledgeable and so friendly and made us feel very comfortable. Delicious wine paired with some amazing food. Thanks Doug. You were so wonderful
Amazing experience. Their infrastructure is amazing, very welcoming staff, wines were splandid, is a MUST to go place in Kelowna. Almost forget to mention, they accepted our dog to be with us. Pet friendly place as well.
