Fantastic patio! We highly recommend the outdoor dining experience. There are fans with mist to keep you cool, umbrellas for shade, and good patio furniture. We were very pleased with our dinner service and food quality. Menu app via QR is slick and easy to use. You can see a picture of every menu item. Staff were top notch. We enjoyed summer drinks from the bar. Great way to spend a summer evening with my date.
I was at this place last night with my family for my Mom's birthday. We ordered Ravioli+prawn as well as pesto chicken quesadilla for starter and they were both great choices to be shared by four. Our server Brayden was a bit too busy or distracted because she forgot to bring us plates for appetizers or even napkins. We also had to request for utensils. The main food though was great except for my dad's steak that was fully raw instead of med rare. The reason why we chose this location over the downtown one was because of the bad reviews on the service but the service here was just as bad.
While I appreciate the service we got from Tali, and the respose from the manager, i just can't understand why everytime we go we can never get the steaks cooked to what we ask for. We have never had this issue at the other location. I always will get the 4 mushroom steak medium and my husband the peppercorn medium rare....tonight his was well done and mine was medium rare. I appreciate that the manager came over and paid for a round of drinks, did offer to remake both our steaks.....we arent into wasting food so did decline the offer. I gave my husband mine and took his well cooked one and got extra sauce for both.The point is that the kitchen staff get this wrong everytime, and the server is the one that has to deal with an upset customer. If parking wasnt a nightmare downtown we would switch locations.This was for a belated anniversary as my husband wotks out of town 3 out of 4 weeks each month, and we hadnt had a date night in awhile.....maybe we will try again in the fall.
Good service, an interesting menu, very good food with nice presentation. All four of us look forward to our next visit.
Cactus club cafe never disappoints! The crispy tofu bowl and vegetarian lettuce wraps are my favorites! And they have a great selection of non alcoholic cocktails too!
My blacked chicken which is my favorite and I always order wasn’t as good. Asparagus overcooked. Service was okay but nothing special. Music is very loud so people have to shout over it which makes it very noisy. Did not seem to have a dining room, just one big open noisy bar.
So I’m from Ontario but do find myself in Kelona often. I really love Western Canada cause they have great restaurants like the Cactus Club. If you’re looking for a casual slightly upscale restaurant this one’s worth checking out. The serving staff is excellent the food presentation and preparation are what I would consider very good. Today I had the fish tacos. I would highly recommend this place.
Went for dinner tonight with friends, food was delicious and the service was great. Will be back soon!
Big restaurant was well decorated. The entrance is bright and clean. Our party of 10 had a reservation and was promptly looked after. Service was phenomenal overall, though there were mistakes made they were corrected without hesitation. We enjoyed the ceviche and ravioli a lot. Steaks were cooked to perfection and the whole family was able to find something on the menu to devour. No room for dessert this time, however those looked great as well. Plenty of options for any diet here.
The staff was accommodating in allowing the group to sit closer together. Wait staff was friendly and efficient, food service was quite prompt. It was difficult to secure a reservation for a larger group.
