A friendly restaurant, even during a busy lunch period. I've had the Beef Dip the two times I have been here, and it was superb. Beef dip isn't a complex dish, but with they make the best one I've ever had. Their ability to handle a less common food allergy (soy) was a bit limited, but their potato skins were soy free and substantial. Definitely recommend this restaurant.
I have driven past this place literally hundreds of times, and always thought, I should try this place. When my wife and I finally did, we thought, why haven't we tried this place before. Their menu isn't the biggest, but the food was great, and as I looked around, everyone else's food looked great as well. They are fair priced, and the service was quick. They will be seeing us again for sure.
Tp start place is great. But... owner is greedy though I found out that the owner is charging 2% of the on the servers tips if they come in via debit or credit. That and they are charging for take out containers. I guess the 9mil sale of his other pub wasn't enough. But the food is great just thought I should let yall know
I am giving more than one star because my server was really nice. I understand they must operate under a reduced menu but at least make every item extremely well. My wings were re-heated. Beef dip was ok and the poutine mediocre at best.I heard they used to have a great menu that has clearely changed now.

Let me start with, Vanessa is awesome, great server. The nachos were the best that I've had locally.One star because- I called right when they opened to see if they'd be airing the Calgary/Edmonton hockey game. The confirmed that they were, so I made a 6:30 reservation. At the start of the 3rd period, we were told that they were closing at 10. The game would go to at least 10:15. Had I known this, I would have found a place to watch the entire game. We got a cab and went to Dakodas to catch the last 7 minutes of the game.
Pretty good food. Free mimosa with breakfast is a neat idea. Eggs benny was a bit pricey for what it is.Server was polite, just we found ourselves always having to put dishes on the table beside us to make room for all 6 of us to be comfortable. Otherwise the drinks were great and the server again was polite. Definitely check it out.
The food And drinks were good, is kind of sports and a relaxed environment, the prices are a little bit expensive if you are a person that needs an appetizer and main food to get full, but still a nice place.
I Was shocked tonight when I attended the pub and saw the hostess with the leastess refusing service to an elderly couple who stated they had no vaxx pass… such discrimination has divided this great nation. This public house has demonstrated they have no problem discriminating and enforcing an illegal mandate only hours before the Trudeau mandate is lifted. I for one will never put a foot inside their door nor will I spend any money there again. I would encourage all Canadian patriots to do the same
After 2 years of lock downs and mandates we were finally able to go out to eat. The very first place we were excited to go back to for brunch was Brandts . We invited another couple to join us, as they had not been before. We ordered our usual, the eggs Benny as this was always our every weekend brunch order, along with a mimosa. We waited for close to an hour for our food, which we found odd as we have never had to wait that long there before, and it honestly wasn’t that busy when we arrived. The mimosas were horrible, tasted watered down. When our food arrived it was cold, the only thing hot was the “homestyle hash browns “ which were basically nugget potatoes with sea salt. Yes the server offered to re cook our food, but at this point we told her we were starving and not waiting another hour. We were beyond disappointed and embarrassed as we raved about Brandts to the couple that joined us. Needless to say they have lost customers that had been going there for years.
