Good service, avocado tempura is very good( not too many places serve this). Overall, friendly staff, reasonably priced food.

Went for the lunch special. Had the spicy miso soup, lovely. When the sushi and rolls came out, it was on a visibly dirty plate. Showed it to the server, she brought it back to the sushi chef. The found a clean plate and just TRANSFERRED the rolls and sushi to it! I watched them do it. What the…. Like seriously. What a shame.
The food was flavourful and plating was nice, we couldn't make a reservation so that was frustrating when your in a group of 6 and trying to plan an evening out.our main courses came at all different times, so a few of us where done before others even received there main course. Bad organization when serving.staff where friendly and restraunt had nice decor and was clean. Prices were average for kelowna. Not sure if we will give it a second chance, many other places to try.
Food was extremely fresh. Service was excellent. The presentation was first class. This has to be the best sushi restaurant in Kelowna. I really enjoyed their luncheon specials especially the sashimi.
Order from here all the time, usually great all round, and very tasty. Tonight though, ordered the BlueTail Tempura box (veggies, prawn, and lobster tail), but no lobster in the delivery, no explanation as to why, no substitute, and no partial refund (lobster tail tempura is $7, whole box is $16, so figure missed half of the cost of the box is a bit of a shame).
While setting our daughter up for residence at Okanagan College we enjoyed a dinner at Bluetail Sushi and Kitchen. Everything about the meal was great, by far the best meal we had while in Kelowna for a week. In fact, probably the best tasting sushi and price that we have experienced. Feel sorry for their competition in Kelowna as they are everything sushi dining should be. Undo your waist belt a few holes when eating there as the servings are generous and super tasty especially if you order the tempura shrimp and calamari dishes to start things off. This review is a month late and had forgotten to post one until I phoned them today to talk about a problem my daughter had with one of the food delivery apps. When she does exceptionally well on exam we treat her to meal from Bluetail, also her favorite. She has used this food delivery app many times and again ordered, paid, food was picked up but never delivered. Crossed wires somewhere. Delivery App was quick to refund her money and she will try again tomorrow. Not great that she missed her meal today, but they sorted it out quickly and she will enjoy it tomorrow. It did remind me though to post my review of this great restaurant, inside comfortable seating, great atmosphere, super personable servers, and super tasting food.
We were in town from the city and decided to try out sushi. We were pleasantly surprised by the pricing and the food. It wasn't too much more than the urban city. The food tasted just as good as the urban city. It gave a feeling of home. I did wish they had some roll/sashimi combos though. Restaurant was clean. Washroom was clean. And while we were there, we saw many people come in and pick-up take-out, including delivery services. That's always a good sign since it means they are a popular choice. I ordered a chicken teriyaki on rice. Was expecting white rice though. Was originally going to order ramen but was sold out (around 6:00pm). My friend ordered the udon and it looked good!
