Sushi was enjoyable! I found it odd that the hot sauce was just squirted onto the spicy tuna, and the Rock and Roll was a bit bland after the spicy tuna. Otherwise, there was great service and decent portions for the rolls. Tempura was tasty, but again it was odd that a huge piece of broccolini was not cut a bit more, it was literally the size of my hand.
Best sushi in town, in my opinion and always good service. The only reason that I give 4 stars is because it can be cramped and awkward if you aren't in a booth - you either feel out of place in the centre dining tables or too close to other guests at the tables to the right). Also the lobby area, for when you are waiting for a table, is extremely too small, especially when people are getting take out as well.
Terrible!!A couple of weeks ago, ordered Love boat set for takeout.Sushi and sashimi are drastically reduced and only other items are plentiful.Better raise the price.I will never go again.
I would avoid this restaurant at all costs. I went to order takeout this evening. The servers didn't about any of the items on the menu. Manager was extremely rude and was not wearing proper face mask he was frantically working over a bunch of soup that he was breathing over and not practicing proper food save or adhering by current public health orders. Overall cleanliness was sub standard and I immediately left the establishment. Avoid this restaurant at all costs.
This branch of Bluetail was the only place I had ever tried sushi for over three years. A couple of weeks ago, before current restrictions, I called to ask for the maximum number of people to dine-in and they said 7 people over the phone. When my friends and I stopped by, they said they can not service more than 6 people. When I told them I talked to one of your employees and she told me so, they denied. I also showed them on my phone that I called this branch at this time and the lady answering the phone calls denied again. They were super rude and didn't care to apologize and try to persuade us to dine-in there sitting separately. We haven't gone there since and have taken our friends to the other branch on Spall road who are much nicer!
It’s not even decent sushi. Taste like Sobeys store bought. It was extremely over priced for the quality and lack of flavour. If you want good sushi do to Kaya.

Fantastic lunch, great service. Very clean and friendly staff. I order a large amount of food for one person with the intention of taking leftovers for a snack later. I had to hold back on my eating as everything was so delicious. Very fair pricing compared to other sushi restaurants I have visited. Highly recommend.

The food arrived so quickly - I felt I had barely let go of the menu. AND it was delicious. Friendly service, good fast food - what else could you ask for??
