Lovely bar! Very pleasant staff, and they also allow/suggest you to bring food from a couple of places across the street with you while having a drink. The second floor just got renovated as well, and it looked great.
Loved this brewery, great beer and a tonne of character. Built in a legit barn using every mm2 of the space. You know it's a proper micro brewery when there are fermentation vessels next to the bar. Cheers!
Amazing brewery, 100% would recommend. Fantastic brews and great atmosphere. The owner is a great guy, very knowledgeable and friendly. There was ramen takeout when we were there (Sunday), otherwise you can bring your own food, or have snacks from the bar. There is a small patio area. Also, bathrooms are clean and fresh. We had the raspberry wheat ale, nitro stout, bohemian red pilsner, and hazy pale ale - all fantastic. There were a ton of fun games in their cabinet and they had live music later in the day. We played Guess Who with our 3 year old :)
Always a phenomenal experience. Thanks for making my birthday special :) best staff and best brews in town. Must visit location! Their live music is always a treat.
Decided to come in and try some beer. Was in the area. The place itself looked great. Very cool space. But the beer is awful. Leaving this review to give you some constructive criticism. I was in a bit of a hurry so I purchased 8 beers to go. (Two sets of 4 tall cans) the wheat ale and the pale ale. The pale ale was hard to choke back. Had a chemical taste to it and the middle notes had a sort of rotting fruit taste. I gave a few sips to my friends and they all said the same thing. One even said it tasted like a cleaning product. I am no expert with pale ales but this one needs work. Tried many others from around Kelowna and other brewery’s that tasted great. The wheat ale was ok, this one was raspberry flavoured but it was flat. It had no bite to it. I expect a beer to have carbonation. Not sure how that was approved to be sold. I had one and that was disappointing enough to not drink the rest. Either way I paid just over $35 for 8 beers. I expect a decent beer for that price. Hope this feedback helps you out in the future. Cheers
Would not recommend if you are a true craft beer fan. Overpriced. Only good take away was the great vibe , kind staff and convienece of being the only brewery in the area. Although would sooner drive downtown for a real craft beer.
About 15 different beer, so there is something for everyone. Staff very helpful and friendly. Upstairs has lots of comfy and eclectic furniture. Recommend you stop by if in the area.
These folks have been workin' it since day one and have managed to keep improving and gaining more solid footing in our community over the toughest years. The variety and quality of the beer is impressive (*and I lived in Bend Oregon for over 4 years. We know our way around craft brew houses). The staff are awesome, the owners are thoughtful and responsive and the brewers know their stuff... even what to do with spent grains! There are some lucky local animals and some very lucky local humans! Keep growing and growling!
We had a wonderful afternoon yesterday at Barn owl. This was our first time and we will absolutely be back❤️
Great little place, wide selection of home brewed beers, great flatbread and awesome life music when we visited this afternoon. Will definitely be back ?
