Absolutely love this sushi place, deep fried California rolls are up to par and incredibly crispy ! My husband gets the avocado roll and its always fresh. Definitely a great date night.
Foods good, but the restaurant smells like rotting fish.! Don't think it's been thoroughly cleaned in a long time!!
I've stopped ordering here due to the overwhelming bad smell. I can't even stand in the place long enough to pick up an order. It stinks.
Best sushi in town
Put in an order for mothers day and they said it would be a 2 hour wait. When we arrived 2 hours later, the server said she forgot to put in the order, so it would be another 30 minute wait. No apology for the mistake.
The sushi at the mall or any convenience store is unfortunately better. Three cooks on line in the open kitchen, I was the only dine in customer, and they served me rolls that were stored in the fridge. The rolls were cold and the tuna was fishy and oily. Save your money and go to the other many fabulous places in Kelowna like Blue Tail , Nari sushi or Momo. I expressed my discontentment and got shoulder shrugs. First and last time I will ever go here. Peace ✌?
You can’t beat Aomi’s for casual dining as take out our for a slow-burn meal over wine. It’s not fancy but it is reliable, tasty and super friendly.
Nice place. They have a pretty extensive menu, so if you have people who are not keen on sushi there is lots of other options available.Watch their hours because they close in between 2:30-3:30 and on Mondays. Their bento lunch boxes are a substantial size for a decent price.Located in a little strip mall with a market, liquor store and bakery near by, so a one stop shop if you need to. Parking can be a bit manic sometimes because of the other businesses but I never struggle to find a spot.
