I used to love Work Box. Not anymore. The entire place is filthy. Like made me nauseous kind of filthy. My food was cooked in dirty oil and tasted like it.The only redeeming factor was that most of the staff was friendly.
Such a variety of options, always satisfied when my family and I eat here. we will def return!

We ordered Korean bulgolgi and Shrimp dandan, along with a "combo" of spring rolls.Both meals were delicious and different from most "chinese" food take out normally served.Minor complaints: the takeout box fell apart, and as we were eating in a park, made a mess. The dandan could have used a few more shrimp, but for the price was what I expected.It would have been nice to see, instead of north American soda pop, some Asian choices like C2 or calimansi juice.
In person take out order on July 30/2021.Staff was friendly. I ordered Mongolian beef and broccoli and side of spring rolls and paid $19.93. The flavour was good, but the broccoli was so chewy that even after much chewing, it remained almost completely in one piece...every piece. Yes, I tried every piece and they were inedible. The spring rolls were mushy inside. I am disappointed in the food I received for the price I paid.
Cute containers.Bang bang shrimp pretty good , nothing to write home about honestly.I also ordered the terryaki shrimp on chow mein. It's mediocre at best I think I found a whole 2 shrimp in the entire box.Definetely not worth the almost 30.00 bucks it cost.I wouldn't order the food again , well not this food.Boxes yesIt's also a good thing I didn't unfold the box into a plate as I would've had all this runny watery liquid all over my work clothes
I understand if there is struggle to keep up by limiting staff because of Covid-19 but this place has quite a bit of issues aside from being busy First off it’s hotter inside than it is outside which is already unbearable, so if you’re looking to get out of the heat this is not the place- their ventilation system does nothing but move around hot and moist air so all the walls and windows are muggy and it makes the place look unclean. And then they still charged me $12.99 for a dish that had no meat, something should be done there to alter according to what is ordered. I won’t be going to this Wok Box again as I’ve had the same expense issue at others.
I am not a fan of "american Chinese" food, but this place is great. Flavorful and not too greasy. We ordered in once and did pick up once. If you pick up, they give you a discount, which I was not aware of and they wouldn't honour it because I didn't order over the phone. Still, I give this place high marks because it is family run, food is great, and restaurant was very clean. Next time though, will definitely order over the phone for the 20% discount, which is significant.
Service was ok. Food was reheated. Drab atmosphere. Expensive considering the quality. Not entirely awful, but wouldn't recommend.
Excellent food and service!" Dinner for 2" was more like dinner for 3! Food is perfectly cooked and non greasy.It is becoming apparent to me that food from my hometown on Vancouver Island is sadly lacking...most impressed
