Visited this location twice and ordered out once. For starters, their waiters are so friendly and professional.Clean surroundings, well-kempt washrooms but there were no hand sanitizer stations in sight(I’d have given an extra non-existent star for this vital add-on).Their toasted shrimp sandwich is so yummy! You should try the blueberry milkshake too.All meals are flavorful and well served. Portions are reasonable for the cost.In summary, I’d go there again whenever I’m in Kamloops.
The service was extremely slow. Servers appeared to be looking after all sections instead of one area of the restaurant. Poor management of staff. We waited about 15 minutes after finishing our meal to get our bill. We did not see our server once the food was delivered by a different server, until we flagged her down to order a take out order and then another 15 minutes to flag her down again for the bill. Staff was courteous but not well trained. Food was great as usual.
Went for breakfast after not visiting for a long time. We were a table of two and we both had very good meals. Highly recommend and will visit again. Special recognition for our server, Angela. She was friendly, attentive and really seemed to like her job!!
So I was in the restaurant yesterday and was greeted at the door by a young man and young lady doing the Covid protocol check in. They asked to see the passport and ID which I have both on my phone. I showed both to them. Then the young man became very adamant that he had to see my actual license and not just a picture, to which I responded the picture is acceptable. He then started yelling at me to show my actual license which I thought was very unprofessional, disrespectful, and down right ignorant. He was still babbling when I showed him my actual license just to appease him. I was embarrassed and annoyed at the manner in which he was talking to me and I may have swore, but given his attitude, I make no apology for it. We were eventually seated and given menus, but the whole experience left me unimpressed. I wound up leaving to take my business elsewhere. Incidentally, we went to Earls where I showed my photos of the passport and drivers license and the hostess even complimented me on how I had both requirements so readily available on one device. Too bad White Spot has such a narrow mind when dealing with how to gain customers back. I will not go to that establishment again because of the disrespect their employee gave me.
The usual white spot; good food / good service. They seemed a bit short staffed (par for the course everywhere these days, it seems), but did their best. Friendly staff, and the sandwich was great.
Attentive staff. Clean booths. Typical menu, plus a selection of brunch items until 3pm. Eggs Benedict was quite good. Plenty of parking and convenient location.
Tom, the ‘big boss’ and his crew were absolutely amazing! Not only were we welcomed with the friendliest greeting, but they went out of their way to help with a pick up order that I messed up (on Christmas Eve!)The food tasted amazing, but I’d dine there again for the customer service aloneThanks again!
Food was great, portions were very generous. Server and waitress were very friendly; also engaged with us. Barrier between booths and they used PPE.
Terrible service. The servers dropped off our food and didn’t ask if we needed anything. We didn’t have cutlery and had to walk up to the host to ask for utensils. My friend had a hair in her food and both our eggs Benny were overdone. Not a single server walked by nor did our server come to check on us for the 15 minutes the rest of us ate our entire plates. When we finally flagged someone down, our server made it sound like it was our fault and said “you should have waved me down”. Awful experience and I won’t be back. Sad, just sad.
My brother had his birthday dinner here the other day. The staff was friendly, the food was pretty decent. I have always enjoyed going to White Spot for lunch and dinner.
