Absolutely terrible customer service. It's cash only, but they won't tell you this until after you have food and drinks. Wouldn't bother me if their atm didn't charge fees on top of my orders.. Not sure if the waiter was having an off night or not, but he clearly didn't want our service, or a tip as it seemed like an inconvenience that we ordered another round.. Probably won't be back or recommend as there is much better service at other places around town.
I've always wanted to try the Sandbar Grill but my son and I will NOT be back. Great location overlooking river but service was slow, food was poor and terrible value. Over 19$ for 4 (four) stuffed jalapenos and skimpy portion for my sons' wings which he didn't like anyway. At a table 15 feet away 3 guys (already drunk at 1pm) were very loud and their language terrible. F--k was by far and away their favourite word. Am I being delusional hoping that staff could have asked them to tone it down? I was so turned off by the whole experience that I suspect the positive reviews were all submitted by family and friends.
Food is always amazing and fresh. The views on the patio are one of the best.The live music was fantastic, these guys were hilarious and so interactive with the guests.Only thing I personally don't enjoy is that they don't take cards for payment, cash only. They do have an ATM machine on site which takes a fee. Just heads up.One of my fave places when I want to sit on a patio!
It may have been an off night, but the service was terrible. Really slow with the food, we never did get the appetizer we ordered until after our food arrived. We wanted it before dinner, not as dessert. They could have sold us more drinks but the server was MIA. Nice location and good food but you're going to have to wait for it.

Went for lunch today and loved then place but the food was not good at all. Over priced and poorly done.
Place had great fish tacos, apples in the slaw was a welcomed suprise, crispy fries which were well seasoned and decent drinks. Inside was VERY loud, music was up far to high so we had to sit on the patio with limited shade. Service was slow to say the least, but she was trying to keep up with the tables, we got one paper menu to share between 4 people which was a bit odd, otherwise it was a nice place. Not a to of parking but I'd 100% return.
This place is a gem! Unique. Local. Good food. Kind, attentive service. The mac n cheese is my ONLY disappointment. Sorry kids....more noodles please! Right on the river, with KILLER sunsets!
