We always enjoy the chicken at Popeye's and the mashed potatoes with gravy are our favorite side dish.This location is usually quick and the food is always hot.
I ordered twice this month from Popeyes, and I got bad chicken. Either they're knowingly frying bad chicken or they're not storing the chicken properly, not cleaning the chicken properly...something is going wrong. First time, I got sour tasting smelly chicken, I threw that out. This time, the chicken didn't smell bad but tasted extra chickeny, and since I ate it believing it is fine, it gave me food poisoning. None of this should happen with chicken. It's time to check the raw meat storage unit, to clean out the unit, to throw out expired chicken, to date chicken, to have better inventory control, to retrain staff in handling raw meat, etc. If possible make one staff as a taste tester to avoid this kind of mishaps. Aren't there any mandatory food inspection for restaurants and fast foods by food inspectors in Kamloops. If there is an office, ask their guidance on this matter. You got the best recipe and loyal customers why ruin it. If you go to work the next day, a sleepless night and the accompanying headache and dizziness doesn't do one any good.
I always enjoy Popeyes. Moist crunchy chicken, and great sides like coleslaw and mashed potatoes with gravy... with a warm baking powder biscuit, but no butter of course.
Open til 11:00… try maybe open til 10:30 if that.. came in at 10:45 to get two chicken sandwiches.. they said they could only do one. Refused to make another.. called them as I was getting home just to see if they understood they are open until 11:00. Guy on the phone treated me with absolute disrespect… very shady

I very rarely eat chicken. For a change, we decided to pick up some chicken. So glad we did!! Absolutely delicious. Crispy chicken skin and juicy,cooked meat. So yummy! We'll be back ??
Just okay. Good chicken, but I expected better... The chicken strips were a bit doughy inside. Service was good and the food was really quick! The sides were all very good (biscuit, salad, fries). Would go again and get the chicken
Picked up lunch today. Onion rings were missing. Phoned in. Went through drive thru to pick them up, absolutely no issue. The staff is incredibly friendly, and willing to help. I totally recommend this place. Awesome customer service. Keep it up.
