So glad they are open - new ownership is awesome!! Easily the best sushi I've ate in Kamloops in years!
Have eaten here twice: the first time was ok but not great, so we thought we'd give it another shot in case that was just an off day. The second time was worse. The scallop roll and the tempura veggie & prawn combo were decent but nothing special. The edamame was overcooked - soggy and tasted like boiled cabbage. The avocado in the other rolls was very under-ripe and chewy... almost crunchy. We ended up throwing out the whole order of edamame and about half of the sushi, so it was a rather disappointing waste of money (and time, since the order took 20 minutes longer than they said it would, and we still ended up having to make dinner instead of enjoying a relaxing takeout meal at the end of the work week).
Wanted to have sushi for my father's day dinner with my family on Saturday June 18th 2022 but they where closed when they should have been open.
We ordered all kinds of rolls from Nishino Sushi and they were all delicious and so fresh. The menu has a lot of options to choose from so you can always try something new. The staff were really accommodating and gave us great service. Thank you Nishino Sushi! We will definitely be coming back again.

Ordered dinner last night and it was incredible, service was amazing as well.
This restaurant is under new ownership. I gave them a pass on my first order 2 weeks ago (it took 1.5 hrs to be ready). My order today was some rolls. The rice was dry and crispy and the rolls completely fell apart. Very disappointed. It may be some time before I try them again.
Ordered 2 rolls. One was rock solid dry. Other was completely not what I ordered. Called. They said they would send new. (3 mins away) after an hour I called said they have no one to deliver. So I went there. Gave back all but one peice of one roll. Person at the front admitted they didn't have the ingredients for the roll they completely made up and stank. After another hour of waiting there. I asked the chef to make 3 rolls that are quickest and easiest for him. He agreed. Hour later I reminded him while I sat there. 30 mins later still nothing. So I left. No refund no food.
How does one review a restaurants food when they don't answer their telephone...ever?!?! I'll have to assume it is bad, as they can't even answer a telephone...........
Great sushi. Definitely a go to when Im out on westsyde. Ill be gking again for sure!!
