Long weekend special occasion. Great staff engagement! Recommendations, help with parking, attentive, very clean, wonderful selection of menu items. Mini tacos were absolutely delightful. Tuna poke bowl was a wonderful balance of all the ingredients! This is a restaurant that is on the favourites list.

Decided to try moxies tonight as my mother in law was in town and wanted to treat her to a nice meal.It started off great. The wing appetizer were crispy and juicy. It came out quickly and were hot!My mother in law and I got the same thing, prawn tagliatelle and my husband got the poke bowl.This took a while and we asked how much longer it would be our server then mentioned that they were short staffed and she’ll go check to see how much longer. After about 15 minutes our food came. To say we were underwhelmed is an understatement. Our pasta was warm and tasted of oil. The noodles were fettuccine not tagliatelle and there were two jumbo prawns and 4 baby shrimps. Disappointed so we mentioned something my MIL didn’t want anything else I decided to get the Alfredo as a replacement. Our server then disappeared never refilled our drinks. I had to ask another server who blew us off and a hostess who was cleaning tables around us. Our server dismissed us because we didn’t order any alcoholic beverages. She checked on her other tables more then us and was around the bar more often then not. I understand it may be hard to wait on a table when there’s errors in food but to completely dismiss us and not check in every once in a while was unacceptable. I get being short staffed and I understand the inner workings of a restaurant as I work in own myself. Being short staff is no excuse for the guest to suffer in experience.

Soooo appreciate the plant based / vegan options!Our food was so delicious, loved the guac and chips! Steaks were cooked to our liking. Bathroom situation was kinda different ! Maybe to save on space??I think our servers name was Arizona ? But I could be wrong - service was overall great!
Dinner was good and the staff were wonderful but I was surprised by the number of things that they had out of stock.

It was nice to have the convenience to book a table and not have to call in to talk with someone.
The seasonal veggies were barely warmed but were charred and raw. The potatoes were gummy and still very lumpy. Steak was grizzle. We were looking for a familiar menu in a new place for a weekend getaway and weâre very disappointed. Likely wonât go back, even now that weâre back in the lower mainland.
