Fantastic diner! We stopped here for breakfast, and Harold's did not disappoint! Fun decor, friendly, attentive staff, tasty food. Classic menu of eggs Benny, omelettes, eggs and pancakes, all excellent. Try the Oktoberfest sausage, it's delicious. Eggs perfectly cooked, fluffy pancakes, the Country breakfast is loaded with veggies.TL;dr: Way better than stopping at a fast food restaurant.
My family thought we’d stop in instead of eating fast food on our way through the city. We were seated and noticed the other two tables with people in the dinner. Another couple came in after us and about 10-15 minutes after all other tables ordered but yet the new people got their food before any of our tables. Our original 3 tables were of colour and the new people were light skinned, my wife asked why they got served first and the waitress said it’s the way the tickets get to the kitchen. So our 3 tables tickets sat somewhere for 10-15 minutes before being takin into the kitchen. The waitress never checked back on the us or the other 2 tables but made sure to ask if the last table was alright and had what they needed. It felt very (Racist) in this nice looking establishment. To top it all off our food was cold and hard hamburger buns

Showed up as a joiner at the table on Father's Day and the server noticed immediately. Our server was amazing. Very attentive to both my teenage sons and the two of us as well. The food portions were incredible. Way more than I expected for my Chicken Caesar salad.. absolutely delicious. I will DEFINITELY be going back.
Wow , one of the best places to eat. First time going for dinner, food is awesome , quality is perfect great flavors and you are not disappointed with the portions. My son go there for breakfast they brag about how delicious they are. One of these days i will have to go for breakfast.
Fast and friendly service from the staff, great tasting food and homemade apple pie. A handy location on the Trans Canada east service road. Will definitely eat here again.
I don't usually leave reviews but the way we were treated by one of the servers was awful. First we came in with 5 adults and 1 baby and 1 toddler. She said it would be awhile. I asked how long and she said 20min or so. I was fine with that. She said could you please wait outside. I said no problem. Then she said she would not have time to come out and tell us when a table was available. I said no problem. We will come in and check from time to time. Which me and another party member were doing every few minutes. I continued to check every 5ish minutes for the next 15min or so. A group of 5 adults walk past us and I think nothing of it. Then the server pops her head out and says its going to be another hour and quickly disappears back into the restaurant. I go through the doors and lo and behold, the group of 5 adults was already seated at a table. I did everything she asked and was super polite up to the point where she gave our table away. I have no idea why we were discriminated against or what made her not want to give us a table. We were clearly a major presence and could not be missed. I stood in front of the glass doors so they could see we were still waiting and between 2 of us we were popping in every few minutes to check and see if a table was available. After all that, someone other than the server offered us a table because they had 2 empty booths. pulled up a chair and it was more than enough room. So they had the room all along. Just not if your not wanted there.
The food is alright. They make one good milkshake. I do hope they work and improve their customer experience through server interaction.
Excellent service and spot on food throughout my lifetime. Harold's is a must when in Kamloops. Home-style food arrives quickly and with a smile, no matter the size of the group or how many mods on the order. Don't ever change! ^_^
Good specials (lasagna and G toast 11.95, early bird dinner special) good value.One waitress was carrying on about her current break up. Very unprofessional.
