As always, this restaurant did not disappoint and Sarah, my server, ensured that I left with a wish to return there when I next visit Kamloops. A good selection of menu items, many locally sourced and a variety of drinks are on offer. This is a higher-end restaurant with accompanying prices but definitely worth every dollar, no question. Thanks Connie for maintaining such high standards and hiring staff that complement your restaurant so well :) Bernd Williams Lake, BC

We sat on the patio and were grateful because the AC inside seemed not to be working inside. We had fun summer drinks Mai tias and Banana Colada. Dinner was Lamb Shank for hubby- very tender and I had the Kale salad with poutine gnocci which a tiny bit on the Salty side but delicious !

Love this place! Delicious food, great wine list, adorable (dog-friendly!) patio, and charming service. We went for my birthday and booked in advance for a table on the patio so we could bring our dog (who is a rescue with separation anxiety) instead of leaving her with a sitter, and the staff were so helpful and accommodating. It was an absolutely delightful evening.

The fine meals (crab cakes, cod cheeks, seafood stew) served by the delightful Sarah were disrupted by the arrival of trains heading west with grains and east with fuels. The din of iron on iron every ten minutes or so marred what would have been a wonderful meal on the shaded patio. The only solution on an early summer's evening: eat inside.

We chose this restaurant based a the high reviews and were not disappointed. The service was attentive and prompt. We ordered salmon, duck and bacon wrapped elk meatloaf. Each were delicious. Presentation was beautiful. The warmth and character of the building was an added bonus. For such great food the pricing was very reasonable.

We had date night at Brownstone yesterday and ordered the Ahi Tuna and New York steak. Both meals were great and served with enthusiasm from the wait staff. We would go back again and although not the cheapest food in town, it didn't feel overpriced for the experience and food quality. either. Thanks!

A True Gem - we enjoyed a delicious dinner last night in Kamloops. A beautiful spot downtown, with amazing food and great service. Highly recommend the crab cakes and beetroot salad. Both very uniquely prepared and delicious ! Thank you.

The service was very good and the room is delightful. However, my choice of the seafood combination had a mussel that was very “off”. This yielded an unexpected, immediate and profoundly unpleasant gastrointestinal result. Be very wary of the mussels!

My husband and I had a wonderful anniversary dinner here. Very creative menu and nice wine list. A little more expensive and upscale for Kamloops but the experience and quality of food was well worth it. The house prosecco was a great value.

A lovely restuarant in a heritage building in downtown Kamloops. Posh (for Kamloops), yet highly acccesible for all. The food is excellent quality and well presented, and innovative- Bacon wrapped elk meatloaf, Gnocchi poutine, Seafood linguine, Seared ahi tuna with black bean udon, Sirloin steak with potato gratin, shallots & beetroot, Delicious sourdough bread and whipped butter. We tried the indigenous wine.. actually quite good. Great service from the 2 waitresses and the barman, and warm atmosphere. We would definitely recommend Brownstone.
