My daughter worked here for 6 shifts. She loved it. She drove from her high-school to work her shift for 4pm today. Earl the manager fired her on the spot as soon as she got there. She was on time. She had to get ready for work to drive up there to get fired. The reason told was "the manager who quit hired too many hostesses". I'm disgusted. Why not fire my 17 yr old daughter yesterday instead?? She was scheduled to work today and tomorrow. Shame on this establishment for not caring about their staff but instead about profit. I will never eat here. What a sour taste it has put in my mouth. Not a good day for Kamloops.
My wife ordered a raspberry mojito that arrived very bitter, far too much lime juice had been added. We mentioned it to our server, and the bartender immediately remade it right in front of us. It turned out perfectly the second time. Our food was also quite good, I personally recommend the Butcher's Block Burger if you're a fan of peppercorn.
Great food and atmosphere. It was a very busy Saturday night here and this place is a very well oiled machine. The staff were very well in sync and on top of everything. Our entrees took a little while longer than anticipated and the general manager came to our table and apologized and gave us a free appetizer. I can't remember the last time we got this good of service from a restaurant that was this busy. When the entrees came the food was amazing and we will definitely be back the next time we are in kamloops.
Freaked out about vaccinations. My girlfriend and I were passing by and are fully vaccinated but we are from US so our vac cards don’t have QR on it, we waited by the door for about 10 minutes before they let us in, it took a lot less time to cross the boarder than it took us to be seated. The food is meh and the staff are undereducated.
This restaurant has the MOST UNPROFESSIONAL STAFF I've ever encountered in my entire life. I would definitely NOT recommend this location to anyone. The servers were very unfriendly to begin with and didn’t seem keen in finding suitable tables and seats for me and my family where we can sit not too far away from each other considering that one table can’t accommodate all of us. My family and I waited for about 20 minutes after we were given the menu, but no one came to us after that. After 20 minutes, a waiter passed by, but he ignored us when we told him we’re ready to order. He gave us a look and walked away. This was extremely aggravating, especially because it wasn't even a busy time. There were barely any customers and there were a lot of servers, but the waiting time was terribly long and the service was extremely awful.If only there was an option for zero star, that would do more justice.One star out of five is even too much to give them considering the type of experience we had to go through - a truly terrible experience.
Today was yet another amazing lunch! The great food, the ambiance, the overall feel at this restaurant is very relaxing, a perfect place to be. Leah (our server) was very friendly, a great sense of humour, and always attentive. Highly recommend this restaurant! 5 stars plus!
I absolutely love this restaurant!! I can not say enough about the staff. They are always friendly, smiling and remember you when you come back. The food is great, and the environment is so fitting!! I have a few favourites, Melinda always goes so above and beyond to make each visit outstanding, and chad has as easy flow and just makes you at home. Then you have Brandon walking around making sure you are always happy. Thank you for always making our visits amazing. ?
Great food, great Covid safety measures including verifying our Australian overseas vaccinations and a sure stop the next time I’m in my hometown again.
We’ve been to this location quite a few times now, and tonight we had another great experience for dinner. The food was very good, the management and servers were attentive and accommodating to our little girl. Big shout out to our server Kris, his service was exceptional.Thanks guys, would definitely be back again and recommend!
Browns 2 years ago (food selection wise) was superior to browns now. The staff is amazing, the food is always great, drinks are cold but im missing their old pizza menu. Bring back the Italian classics!
