Food is extremely well priced services amazing and always fresh. Probably one of the best restaurants in cameras with a deceivingly inexpensive facade. You get way more than what you pay for

I will start by saying I never write google reviews. Tonight my boyfriend and I while on a road trip through BC stopped in for sushi. I am celiac (gluten allergy) so it’s rare we can find a place so accommodating. Honestly this was the best sushi we have ever had! Ryan was our server and he was so friendly and made the experience. My only wish was that this sushi spot was at home in Ontario so I could get it all the time. I have no other words to say other then this place is absolutely amazing!!

Fantastic sushi! Toro, salmon and unagi in particular are excellent. Great value and service.

Best sushi place in town. Everyone was super friendly and foods were excellent!! Yet still affordable.

Best sushi around. I stop here everytime I'm passing through kamloops which is quite often. Love the service and quality of food is unmatched.

A great experience last night, friendly and quick service was provided. The spicy Korean tofu soup was excellent along with the spicy salmon roll. Will definitely try again as it’s very affordable.

The best sushi in town! We come from the other side of town because there is no comparison! You won’t be disappointed - rolls are full, great quality and tastes so good!

Purple rain roll, teriyaki chicken bowl, prawn tempura, and the crispy roll. All of them were excellent. Service was quick, price point is decent, food is the highlight though. Worth going out of your way for. Ticket times of about 8 minutes. Highly recommend.

Honestly we’ve been coming here for the past 15 years and spent thousands of dollars here - in fact we've ordered once a week for the last 10. We stopped coming here for a while because 1. The service has become extremely slow and every single time I was waiting in my car for 30+ minutes longer than they told me my order would be ready. 2. Every single time my order is wrong and they constantly blame it on me - every freaking time tell me that I am wrong and that this is what I ordered. You can look back on my 1000+ orders and see I’ve never ever in my life ordered these rolls. They never honour my credit when I go back to get my roll. Will not be coming here anymore. Super unfortunate you’ve let it come to this.

Best sushi in the city – no contest... and I have eaten a lot of sushi all over North America. Based on the existing ratings and reviews I am not alone in my assessment.I generally judge sushi by the sashimi - if a restaurant doesn't have enough pride to serve fresh product why would you ever return? There is a lot more to my assessment than just sashimi but fresh fish is my sniff test. There are two Arigato locations in Kamloops – both excellent and with the exact same menu. I don't know if it is the same ownership but here are the reasons I prefer Valleyview over Hillside:The servers at Valleyview are generally friendlier. Not that the hillside location is unfriendly, but the servers there have a sharper edge with more tension. The manger/owner is at this location is amazing. If you pay attention, you'll see that he attends to things with earnest and urgency. He sincerely cares and that attitude permeates the restaurant. No small feat in the food service business. The seating at this location is more comfortable. The booths seem bigger, the backs of the seating are not so straight up and down. The hillside location feels like less thought goes into it. That said, neither location has ultra comfortable seating. A professional upgrade would go a long way for both locations.Visiting Arigato in Kamloops will be a positive sushi experience!
