I cannot sing enough praises about this restaurant. What an amazing dining experience. The decor was clean, upscale and trendy. There seem to be a few different sections of the restaurant with different vibes. The food was top notch in both taste and presentation. I really appreciated the attention to detail. The food was spicy, even at the mildest option.Service was impeccable. Very professional group of front of house staff. Our waitress was attentive and courteous. The hosts were kind and considerate of my mobility issues. I felt very respected, not just accommodated. We ordered way more than we should have because the ambiance was so nice, so we were expecting a higher price point. We ended up taking a lot of food home, which was a bonus. Dessert was great, and drinks are a must here - very delicious.
We came from Toronto and by far, this is best service we've come across! Fast, and the food was amazing. As well as being reasonably priced. Overall 100% recommend.
It’s a popular restaurant and at a price range like downtown Vancouver. I went to the Delta location. I was told on the phone that on weekends they don’t take reservations. It was busy but pleasantly surprised we didn’t have to wait long to be seated. We liked the décor and ambiance, an upscale and trendy feel. Everything we had tasted great, Indian food with a western flair. Although it was a busy night, it did not take too long for our meals to arrive, which was surprising. It was hard to find parking, had to park in next establishment’s parking lot. There is a valet service but did not use it.The only issue I had was with service. The staff is friendly and accommodating. But there are miscommunications or lapses of attentiveness between servers. We did not receive water after being seated, even when we asked for it. We had appetizers arrive, but there were no plates or cutlery at our table. The floor manager noticed this and made sure our entrees went well. However, we had the wrong desserts brought to us, and the floor manager graciously gave a discount. I am glad that the Floor Managers were attentive but if they weren’t, my review would have another star missing.
The food was great. Definitely a fancier experience than the average Indian restaurant. Fyi, mild is still pretty spicy, so if you can't handle the heat, maybe ask for non spicy.
We ordered from this restaurant (Delta location) twice while visiting Vancouver. When picking up the first order, I asked if I could just take a few pictures of the place (as a paying customer). The 3 people at the front desk were not at all friendly and would not allow pictures. Looked at me as if I wanted to steal something (just paid over $40 for the meal)!! On the second order, via online, ordered the lambchops which were excellent. I did not go to pick up this order but my brother did and was made to wait! Seemed discriminatory.
Best place for Indian food and there still is non Indian food there like tacos and inside it is really fancy. It is a little expensive but definitely worth it and when you are hungry the food tastes better. They give you your food surprisingly quick compared to other restaurants and it was busy not empty on weekends. Also go on Sunday because I think they have happy hour the entire day.
This Indian restaurant has décor similar to the popular Cactus Club but, in India style. Food is good but servings are relatively small. Good desserts.
Took my dad here for lunch and we both really enjoyed it. There’s an $18 /person lunch special that was plenty of food for us. The garlic naan was a nice touch. The lamb curry was a bit too salty for my dad unfortunately but my butter chicken was excellent.Nice decor and friendly staff
Went for dinner first time.It was jam packed but fortunately got the table on short notice. If possible do reserve the table in advance for more comfortable experience. The ambiance is very nice, food was good and service was on point. Highly recommend for a wonderful dining experience.
By far, the best Indian food we’ve had with THE best service. We were visiting from Brampton and have tried many Indian restaurants before, but the quality and flavours of the food here were unique and so rich. The servers also had such amazing service, they were so polite and quick. Definitely recommend trying the bistro out if you’re in the area!
