Pretty unprepared and lame Starbucks. Terminal isn’t working so that’s fine. But I went to pay with cash and can’t break a $50. So got smaller amounts by buying something from another vendor. Stood in line for 10 minutes, tells me they can’t break a $20. I had a $5 but was 50 cents short. The precious 5 people before me put way more than that in the tip jar. Come on. For a company of this size, they need to be more prepared for anything.I’ve been here many times and it’s slow and service isn’t the greatest. Make your stop before you get here.
Every time I’ve ever visited this Starbucks, they had my order ready in under 5 minutes. I guess they’re used to processing ferry crowds quickly. It’s always well organized, clean, and very well staffed (they’re friendly too). Top marks for this location.
Busy little place, but the staff kept the lineup moving quickly. Coffee was warm, not much else to say...great stop while you are waiting to board.
In a convenient spot and quick service. But only problem they don’t have cold brew even though it’s on the menu. At least you can still use the app to pay.
The Apple Crisp Macchiato was fantastic! Great service, definitely a great place to stop when using the ferry.
Very very slow! Even to order a plain coffee takes 10 minutes to order then 10 minutes to get it. Chubby manager is also kinda rude.
The Starbucks employees told my mom they were closed and then twenty minutes later served a group of 8-10 girls. I saw my coffee in someone else’s hands all because I hadn’t befriended the barista…. It was a sad day for us all.
The biggest problem with this Starbucks is they do not have enough staff to deal with peak ferry traffick and take forever when it is busy. At peak times they have only 3 employees taking about an order a minute and it takes forever. I have had to leavefor the ferry without my drink several times after waiting over 15 minutes for it. They need at least one or two more people there. The Starbucks in Kerrisdale has 5 people working at peak hours and drinks are ready in good time. Considering that making a drink before a ferry leaves is essential here, they really need to up the staff. Normally friendly service.
I have ordered the same Frappuccino drink for a while now; I had a Starbucks employee help me input the drink to my app so it is exactly the same each time I order it, regardless which province I'm in. I gave up asking for the drink to be remade a 3rd time after having 2 employees telling me that's how the drink is. Such a waste paying $8 for a Frappuccino I won't drink... oh well, there is always Second Cup.
Ordered $15 worth of items but asked them to cancel as we had to board ferry. We were told order is cancelled but we never got our refund.
