Weâve been many times over the years and I must say this time the service was not up to par. It was odd to sit at our table and it not being set up with glasses and cutlery. When the food did arrive, we had to ask for the cutlery. The food, however, was up to our expectations.
We enjoyed sitting on the patio and watching the kayakers.
Despite being run off her feet, our server remained friendly, cheerful and helpful. The patio is awesome; great view, nice breeze, shady tables (and some sunny ones for those unafraid of skin cancer). The food was good, my wife's veggie burger was excellent, my seafood club was delish and my Mom enjoyed the kids size halibut and chips. We had given up on Riverhouse after a few less than great experiences but we're very pleased to see it is returning to its best days. We will be back.
Beautiful evening to sit on the patio next to the river. Delicious swordfish and arctic char meals. Quality service. We are regulars.
Great food and service but lacking ambience building needs major upgrades to dark and glomme.

What could be better - a beautiful summer day & lunch on the deck overlooking the river with friends. The River House is consistently good both for outside & inside dining. Food was great & the service from Janine was excellent. Weâll be back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch yesterday! The food was excellent and our server was knowledgeable and attentive. The River House is a wonderful place for a special occasion or for no reason other than you are looking for a lovely setting, good food and fine service!
We were the only occupied table on the patio so it was quiet except for some roof replacement noise. This was not bothersome. There was a smell of tar from this but only near the end of our meal. Our server was excellent and made sure the umbrellas were shading us and she took photos for us (it was a 70th birthday celebration). Our drinks and food were very good.
