Sad to say that this was the worst take-out experience. Ordered a Cajun Chicken Sandwich and the chicken was so thin, burnt and dry that it was inedible. Feeling ripped off after this meal was $30+. My dine-in experience has always been fine, but it is really concerning that this kind of quality was deemed good enough to serve someone.
The ravioli was delicious. It had a citrus flavour with the butternut squash texture which combines so well. Truffle fries were crispy but lack of truffle flavour but the aioli had a strong taste which might cover the truffle. All in all, the service was decent but she was always occupied when we wanted to order more so ended up not getting a chance to order.
I went here with my girlfriend, she ordered a well done steak but unfortunately it tasted burnt when she got it. Our server was very sweet and apologized and took the steak back. Another lady (I assume she was the manager) also came to apologize and said they were putting a priority on the new steak. Our server came by a couple more times to let us know it was coming soon. When it came they actually brought a whole new order with warm sides rather than just the steak.Did I mention the food was delicious? My girlfriend got the steak and I got the salmon, both were delicious! The mashed potatos were also so good. When we got the bill we saw that they didn't even charge us for the steak!10/10 for food, ambiance, cocktails, and most of all the staff. Everyone we interacted with was so nice and happy to help. Will definitely go back
Cactus Club has been a fixture in ND for quite a long time.Once know for its rowdy, gang clientele has kept us away.Went for dinner recently and found it quite pricy for what you get: Chicken Pesto Quesadilla- $17, Teriyaki Chicken Rice Bowl- $21.50 and Bacon Cheddar Burger- $21.Food and service were good on a busy weekend (early) evening.Located in a strip mall with ample parking.Reservations recommended.
The place was rocking and jam-packed, book the table before during weekends as it's high on demand. Good range of cocktails and lip licking snacks. The music was cool and they have a lounge and dining area to sit. The lounge is loud and the dining area was a little private. The range is affordable, ones in a month one can pamper themselves.
Had a lovely dinner at Cactus Club Cafe tonight with my friends. Our server was top notch and so patient with us not ordering right away as we were trying to decide what to have as well as catching up with the news since our last dinner out together! My green curry bowl was so yummy and flavourful but I truly wish they would put more chicken and less rice in it for us Diabetic people!
I have visited this location several times in 2022, here is my experience. The staff are excellent from start to finish , respect them for dealing with peak periods they way they do.Special shout out to Mikela who was our server tonight ( don’t like that title.. but we go on) , she was a 10!Food was amazing.
Great service unbelievable service, amazing burger the feenie . However, was a little disappointed on the portion of fries, and there was a major cold draft on my back. The beer was amazing, great food great price but was a cold restaurant. Even though the fries are portioned its still small in comparison to the burger. I talked to the manager ario and Kaleb and destiny were da bomb amazing staff and the kitchen can't forget
The most disappointing experience we have ever had. Let them know when making a reservation that it was my wife's 50th birthday. The occasion was recognized upon showing up to the restaurant. Usually, a restaurant will recognize a Birthday with maybe a dessert or something. This place did nothing. I will know now not to go here for any special occasion. So disappointed. Told waitress about it when paying bill and she knew nothing of it. I guess hostesses kept the secret to themselves
Delicious, lovely atmosphere (albeit very busy! Glad we reserved a table ahead of time). They were playing 90's hip hop songs which tickled me.Came here with my partner and we both got steaks. Hers was the 4 mushroom one (not pictured) and I got the peppercorn steak. Whoo! 8oz was plenty for each of us! She got hers cooked rare, I got mine medium rare. They were cooked perfectly, and the demi glace on them was 10/10.We ordered the spicy chicken for the appetizer... soooo delicious. The chicken was super tender. And last we split a peanut butter chocolate crunch bar for dessert. Rich, but the richness was cut by the ice cream. Totally worth it... probably my favorite thing I ate tonight I can't lie.We will definitely be back some time! Just not too often as it's not exactly the cheapest joint around haha. Either way, it's great in here and I appreciate how they check vaccination status before letting you in!
