Food is kinda meh. No real authentic Chinese flavour. Noodles were dry, the garlic chicken was too saucy/oily and the veggies were undercooked! The restaurant seems to take on more of a North American vibe. Front desk is run by a bunch of young high school looking girls?
Delicious food, amazing service. We love the food here. It’s so flavourful, clean, and fresh. We’ve been ordering delivery for some time and had the pleasure of dining in for the first time recently. The experience was wonderful as our waitress, Lauren, provided excellent service. We notice that this is the theme with the restaurant. Everyone is attentive and kind, even the delivery staff! The food speaks for itself and can’t go wrong with ordering anything from their menu. I highly recommend it!!
Not rating the food here since we walked in and left when we found out the online menu prices for beer are much more expensive if you choose to dine in. Takeout beer is $4. The restaurant is not what you'd expect a Chinese restaurant to look like. It's modern, minimalistic with wood tones, has some booths and tables and also a bar side with a couple of TVs. Lots of parking.
Great Chinese food. Very clean tasting and not greasy. Love the spicy green beans and ginger beef.
Never been disappointed with anything I've ordered. Its incredible what they do. And somehow they make broccoli taste good. I HATE broccoli! The egg rolls are also amazing.
Terrible experience with delivery the last two times we have ordered from this restaurant. Taking up to 3 hours to arrive when we were initially told it would be 35 to 40 minutes. They should give a realistic time frame when you place your order so you can make the decision to continue or not. Needless to say we will not be ordering from this restaurant again. If you choose to order delivery from this restaurant be prepared to have to come up with dinner for your kids cause chances are good it will be hours before your order arrives.
UNBELIEVABLE FOOD! Ordered 3 dishes plus some spring rolls for pick-up this past weekend. Second time ordering from here but this time the food was exceptional! The portions were very large, enough for the 2 of us to be fed for 3 meals and the quality and taste were unsurpassed. Just had to write and offer my review and compliments to the Woking Dragon. Thank you!
Awful awful food!!! My suggestion to the the owner /manager is to sell this place to somebody who can actually cook. I ordered 6 dishes all of them terrible. nothing was fried , I don't think the food actually was cooked in a wok. It was cold, tasteless , no flavor and not even salt was added. God somebody please open a decent Chinese restaurant in Coquitlam because I have not found one that is reasonably priced and actually serves good food in this area. Last Asian restaurant I went to in my area served us rotten Chicken. The food here was not spoiled but the person who made it couldn't cook. Fried rice was steamed, the beef was cold and soggy and although I like partially fried vegetables , the vegetables were so raw and seemed like they were tossed in at the last minute straight out of the freezer. Portions were small and food was absolutely bad, such a waste of money. I wanted to ask for my money back but they had closed. I ended up tossing out the whole kit and kaboodle. What a waste!!! Wok, wok, wok away fast. 5 stars what a joke they must be paid reviews.
My wife and I both got food poisoning from our Friday night takeout. She had to go to the hospital today. Horrible experience - we have ordered from them many times in the past, but not again. This was pure negligence from them.
We've been ordering from these folks for a while now and find the food good on most occasions. The staff are always great to deal with so that's nice but we ordered last night and there were a couple issues we didn't enjoy. They forgot to put the sweet and sour sauce in the order for the chicken balls with sweet and sour sauce. This is about the 4th time they have forgotten sauces in our order and it's getting a bit frustrating. We also live too far away to run back to get the sauce so we basically had plain chicken balls :( I also found the breaded prawns were a little under done as the batter wasn't crispy. They were crazy busy but should still have the time to cook the prawns the way they should be cooked. One lost star for the missing sauce and another for the three other times we went without sauce for one of the dishes and one lost star for the poor quality breaded prawns. Maybe it's time to look for another restaurant.
